Experiment 001 ∞ Video/Action to Crystalden

[ in the background, you can see the skyline of the techno district behind a petite brunette dressed in flannel and a nerdy shirt. She fidgets a little before noticing that she was already broadcasting. ]

Oh! Um, anyways, I'm Jane Foster, and I'm wondering quite a few things. But to start off with, re there any not insane scientist types around? We can pool our resources for good. I promise I'm sane, despite current circumstances. Oh, and has anyone seen or heard from Darcy Lewis? She was with me before I woke up here.

1st case : video;

[There's quite a bit of fiddling with the camera until it settles on a man probably no older than late-thirties, his lips quirked up in an amused smile and his dirty blonde hair short but styled up and somewhat messy. He's leaning against a dresser, the mirror behind him, and a black vest hung up on one of the corners. It's hard to read some of the words printed on it, but the back says "Crime Scene Investigator" in block, white lettering.]

Right, okay. I'm a bit late on this but I figured if we're stuck here I should hop on the 'introduce yourself' train. And maybe see if anyone I know is around.

Anyway, I'm Greg Sanders. I work for the Las Vegas Police Department. That's Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, Earth for you non-Earth types, and I know there's a few of you around so I just wanted to clear that up.

... and the more I talk about this the more I wonder "why me"? I know a certain scifi geek in my office would love to be here right now, but whatever, I guess I get saddled with the weird stuff for now.

[He shrugs, making a sort of 'that's my luck' face before continuing on.]

I'm a Crime Scene Investigator, by the way. Not a cop, even if I do carry.

So I guess that's it. I doubt anyone I know is here... I woulda heard something by now, I'm sure. Unless--

[Well, there was what happened to Morgan... if she was there and injured she might not have been able to ask if her coworkers were around. The thought earns a pause from the CSI, and a worried frown, but eventually he just shakes his head.]

Never mind. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for listening, I guess.

Can anyone hear me on this? This is Tony Stark, of Stark Industries, also known as Iron Man. If you've heard of me or the Avengers or SHIELD, please meet me at Crystalden, at the entrance near the highest tower.

If you have experience with electronics, science and physics, meet me anyway. If you're a superhero, we should trade notes.

If you know magic.... I'll find some other representative for you because I don't care.

( 001 ✿ video )

[ Mallow Hallow, have a fairy. A rather troubled one at that. Lips pursed together in unease, she frowns at the screen for a few moments before sighing and clearing her throat. ]

I guess this chalkboard functions as a communication device. [ Skepticism lingers on her face as she exhales once again and shakes her head, the small twin braids flicking to and fro with the motion. ]

Okay. To those that can hear me, this is Lyfa of Sylvian. [ Despite her earlier hesitation, she's now looking directly at the screen, emerald eyes gleaming determinedly. People are more likely to respond to confidence, after all — provided that this chalkboard thing actually works. ] Judging by the people I've met so far, a lot of you seem to come from different games; so if you're unfamiliar with «ALFheim Online», «Sylph» is the name of my race. Anyway, I'll keep this short. There's definitely a system glitch here, at least on my end. Certain options on my user menu have disappeared — including the «Log Out» button. [ She refrains from specifying what those 'certain options' are for now since doing so may leave her vulnerable to attack. Even though this is just a game, something within her balks at the thought of dying before she figures out for herself what's going on. Geez, now where did that gamer's pride come from? ]

Also, the NPCs aren't responding to the usual cues. I'll admit that I'm probably missing the big picture here, but I definitely didn't get any offline notifications about this kind of development. So I'd be grateful if anyone from ALFheim or otherwise could fill me in; if you could tell me how to contact a GM, either by fixing my user menu or even through this . . . board . . . thing, all the better. I'm always up to dueling for the information if that's what you want.

Oh, and I'm in someplace called «Astralfield» right now.

Thanks, see you.
