[The feed clicks on and the first thing visible is hay strewn about on the ground- upon closer inspection, the hay is spattered with blood.
After the Scroll is set down to start recording, a fucking dragon comes into view- small enough to fit in the stables, apparently, but her wings are folded down and she's curled up tight. Around her are three of the knights of Highcrest, currently on the ground and moaning in pain- two are bleeding openly, the third is completely passed out.
And amongst it all is a man with pitch-black riding armor and a mask that covers half of his face. The axe in his hand is large, stained with blood, and Gerome hefts it to his shoulder for added effect.]
If anyone else so much as thinks of touching my wyvern-
[The lizard lifts her head slightly, slitted eyes staring curiously into the camera from over Gerome's other shoulder. The rider kicks at one of the knights with an armored boot and the man groans out in pain.]
-then next time, I won't hold back.
[He reaches forward and shuts off the feed.]

How's Minerva?
Video
[He drops the axe and turns to her, resting his hand under her chin. If nothing else, Minerva seems happy to see them again.]
They only managed a few scratches before I found them.

You own a dragon?
( video )
[Who seems pleased as anything to see her rider again and shows it by nuzzling at his shoulder when he's trying to have a super serious conversation here >:C.]
Her name is Minerva.
[video]
Well done.
[ He still rather hopes no such thing happens again, but.... Let us be real. If someone had tried to hurt Minerva, or any of his comrades, his first response would probably to Elthunder the bloody hell out of them ]
[video]
[He appreciates the lack of criticism. To be honest, Gerome was expecting some kind of chastising from Robin, and he's ultimately pleased that there's no such thing.]
I have to figure out where to keep her.
[video]
Also, any idjit trying to kill his people is going to find themselves surprisingly dead surprisingly fast.]There may be some old farmhouses or stables in the district, I would suggest looking for that, first.
Abandoned would be ideal, but if nothing else you could 'persuasively' ask a local for its usage if otherwise empty.
[ Also, with Minerva back, he has one less thing to worry about. ]
Just, be gentle when you ask.

...I'm glad you found Minerva. Is she all right?
video;
[He runs his fingers over the wyvern's shoulder, jaw tight in a barely-concealed anger.]
They were trying to slay her.
video;
Why?! She hasn't done anything...

Or the guy with the mask on his face.

You've got a dragon?!

[Sort of a dragon, but smaller and less... well, dragon-like.]

I never thought I would see an actual living, breathing dragon...
[ Especially since they're considered to be extinct where she's from. ]
[ video ]
Wyvern, technically. Dragons are much bigger.

It's not mine, either. I managed to take them by surprise.
