oo2 ;; Accidental text ;; Alex likes to draw, m'kay?
[Alex was doing a chalk doodle mostly because of boredom. The drawing just so happened to be of New York above and below as she had drawn what felt like years ago. She didn't know why she wanted to draw it, it just happened to be on her mind. Something from back home. Something that she truly was proud of, after all. She sent it to the network and huffed before sending a message shortly after]
Sorry about that also oh my god this is so cool!
[Except she totally wasn't and it totally was cool. Her first text to the network. In her own handwriting. Oh my god. It was beautiful.]

That's a nice picture by the way
[Text]
Thank you! Your sketches are very nice as well. Chalk isn't my usual medium -- I usually work in pen and ink.

[Text]
I should introduce myself -- Victor Van Dort.
[Text]
[There's a smiley face after it to show that she just snorted at it and figured let him know if he wasn't aware. She's met people like that, before.]
I'm guessing you're in the same district as me though?
[For those unfamiliar with the canon, Alex, upon meeting Victor, will snort and say 'Yeah. To me, you're Victor Van Dork now. No offense.']
[Text]
Yes, I'm aware.
[At least Victor Van Dork will be on the newish side?]
Given the medium, I would say so.
[Text]
Good because you'd be surprised how many people with funny names don't know that they have funny names like my brother Justin Vincenzo Pepe Russo for example just makes me laugh that easy
[Text]
That -- is a mouthful of a name, honestly.
[Text]
[Look who's talking, Ms. Russo.]
[Text]
[Awkward question is potentially awkward. . .]
Re: [Text]
[She's actually kinda fine with that. It's Mason she wants here more than anything.]
[Text]
I see.
[Ummm. . .conversation, conversation. . .]
Have you been here long?
[Text]
[Victor, you're now a target. You haven't even met her in person but she has this feeling you're getting awkward and that makes you a target]
[Text]
Not long at all -- only a few days. I'm still getting used to everything.
[Pause.]
If you've seen lots of oversized glowing mushrooms or butterflies with slices of bread and butter for wings, that's my fault.
[Yeah, Wonderland's still on his mind -- and in his dreams.]
[Text]
[Brunette psychopath that had to save it. Same thing?]
[Text]
She's not blonde. . .
You know about Wonderland?
[Nobody'd he met during his introduction had seemed to know -- or, at least, been that specific about what it entailed. . .but blonde girl?]
Re: [Text]
[She has never played the games, though as she's a Disney character herself]
[Text]
Books? Movie?
[He's not even sure what that last one is.]
I -- "creepy guy in a hat" I know about, though Alice never spoke of a lisp. . . And she is very much not blonde.
Look, the reason I know of Wonderland is that I'm acquainted with Alice herself. She never said anything about books! Unless she was planning to write them herself. . .
[Text]
[Text]
[The books or LSD, he means.]
It -- depends on what you mean by exciting. Alice had to -- well -- battle her way across Wonderland twice.
[He feels a little weird talking about it with Alex -- after all, it's Alice's story -- but she seems to know so much already. . .]

[There was a moment before another message was sent]
And fat
[Text]
Cheshire cat was never purple, though. Blue. And very thin.
[So pretty much the exact opposite.]
