[Alex was doing a chalk doodle mostly because of boredom. The drawing just so happened to be of New York above and below as she had drawn what felt like years ago. She didn't know why she wanted to draw it, it just happened to be on her mind. Something from back home. Something that she truly was proud of, after all. She sent it to the network and huffed before sending a message shortly after]

Sorry about that also oh my god this is so cool!

Yes, exactly. My parents tried to make me into someone I'm not, and that didn't work out at all.

Meanwhile my parents would rather party for my brother who just got a good deal because the headmaster at our old school is getting old

Oh -- sorry to hear that. I'm an only child myself, if I haven't mentioned. Still, I often felt like I was being held up against some "ideal" child and constantly being found wanting.

It is, isn't it? Always trying hard to be a good son for them. . . Of course, these days, we're not on the best of terms, so I don't have to worry abut that anymore.

I do all these cool things like save the world or something and they don't appreciate me nearly as much as they should

I do whatever I want because I'm my familys wizard Justins a full one too because he wound up being heeadmaster of our school so I guess jack of all trades?

Yes, doing whatever you want would fit 'jack of all trades.' Incredible. I've only recently learned of magic's existence, but I find it fascinating.

It gets less 'fascinating' the more you learn about it dude trust me

I still think it's interesting, though. Maybe because the first bit of magic I ever really saw was -- well, someone sending me between the barrier of life and death.

I don't know if I'd call it lucky. . .but I did end up enjoying my time down there. Lots of color and fun, and everyone so welcoming. . .

The version you saw sounds a lot more like my hometown, honestly.
