[Alex was doing a chalk doodle mostly because of boredom. The drawing just so happened to be of New York above and below as she had drawn what felt like years ago. She didn't know why she wanted to draw it, it just happened to be on her mind. Something from back home. Something that she truly was proud of, after all. She sent it to the network and huffed before sending a message shortly after]

Sorry about that also oh my god this is so cool!

[Except she totally wasn't and it totally was cool. Her first text to the network. In her own handwriting. Oh my god. It was beautiful.]

[Victor, you're now a target. You haven't even met her in person but she has this feeling you're getting awkward and that makes you a target]

[Let joy be unconfined! Although all things considered, Alex is much better than some of the people Victor's had to deal with.]

Not long at all -- only a few days. I'm still getting used to everything.

If you've seen lots of oversized glowing mushrooms or butterflies with slices of bread and butter for wings, that's my fault.

[Yeah, Wonderland's still on his mind -- and in his dreams.]

Where's you from? Wonderland? Like blonde girl falling through the rabbit hole seeing crazy people everywhere Wonderland?

[Victor can't help but stare at his chalkboard for a moment.]

[Nobody'd he met during his introduction had seemed to know -- or, at least, been that specific about what it entailed. . .but blonde girl?]

I -- "creepy guy in a hat" I know about, though Alice never spoke of a lisp. . . And she is very much not blonde.

Look, the reason I know of Wonderland is that I'm acquainted with Alice herself. She never said anything about books! Unless she was planning to write them herself. . .

No she never wrote the books it was some writer dude who used drugs like LSD or whatever but sounds like yours is more exciting that what I've seen or read about

It -- depends on what you mean by exciting. Alice had to -- well -- battle her way across Wonderland twice.

[He feels a little weird talking about it with Alex -- after all, it's Alice's story -- but she seems to know so much already. . .]

Well that definitely sounds more exciting since the Alice I'm used to is kinda a twerpy 10 year old or something like that

Well, her original adventures happened when she was seven. . . The battles came after she -- lost her family in a house fire. Fighting for her very sanity, you see.

So I'm guessing it's like really twisted from you've been then because the Wonderland I know is like all bright and colorful and stuff with the cheshire cat being purple

Well, it's supposed to be bright and colorful from what Alice told me. Giant multicolored trees, rainbow-hued snails, bouncy mushrooms of various shades. . .

Cheshire cat was never purple, though. Blue. And very thin.

Yes, well, I suppose you can see a bit of it in the mushrooms I dreamed up. Her stories have been on my mind with this sudden move.

Much as I think being pulled to another world wouldn't exactly be good for her after all she's been through. . .I can't help but feel the same.
