[He's not really sure what to say so he stares at the camera, playing with his wrist bracers, chewing on his lip. As the camera focuses, his face hardens, his eyes glinting at whoever might be watching. His body relaxes, a pointed effort, and he grins his usual shit-eating grin, finally addressing his audience.]
Anyone have Duel Monsters cards?
[He'll be damned if he doesn't duel, even while he's stuck in this place.]

Oh yeah.... Video
[Yes, Spirit of the Millennium Puzzle. By now she knows the difference between you two.
She toys with her hair nervously, trying to think of a good way to explain all of this.]
Well, I was on a plane to New York when we hit some turbulence. I just remember the plane going down and I passed out. When I woke up, I was here.... In Lockwell.
Re: Oh yeah.... Video
[He trails off, closing his eyes.]
So Partner is where I am, too? That's good ...
[He smiles.]
I'm just glad you're okay, Anzu.
Video
[She smiles back, happy that she was able to see him again.]
I'm glad you're okay, too. After the Ceremonial Duel, we were all convinced we wouldn't see you again. What happened? How did you end up here?
no subject
I don't know what that is. Last I remember, I was about to raise the cards toward the Memorial Tablet, and then ... I was here, without Partner.
Video
She leans back into her chair and sighs.]
So, I guess the name "Atem" means nothing to you at this moment?
no subject
That's his name - my name- isn't it?
[If he hadn't had met the Pharaoh previously, he woudln't have caught on so quickly.]
Atem.
no subject
[Judging by his glare, she instantly regrets her question. Has she said too much already? She looks down at her hands.]
Yes. Atem.
no subject
[He said.]
It's just, I've already met him, Pharaoh Atem.
And I don't like him.
[He smiled at her.]
It's not your fault, Anzu.
no subject
Are you saying that there are two of you here? As in, two Atem's?
no subject
[He responds, though he is reluctant to call himself Atem.]
There are two of us ... Me, without memories ... And another ... From the past.
no subject
That's impossible! How can there be two of you?
no subject
I don't know! But there is. He's ...
Tch.
[The Pharaoh ... Why?]
He's me.
no subject
[She trails off-seeing the frustration on his face. It bothered her too. The Pharaoh that she knew from her time was as kind as the one she had on the screen in front of her. Was there something she was missing from this?]
Why does he bother you so much? I figured seeing him would clear up some answers for you. Maybe help you figure out your past.
no subject
Am I really like that? Am I really so ... Pretentious? And just ... So freaking annoying? Do I hold myself that way? Do I come off that an asshole?
no subject
No, you're not.... Or at least I don't think you are.
[Maybe if she ran into this guy, she would find out for herself what he was talking about.]
