_{[It sure didn’t take long after Amery’s first post for the feed to come on again, this time showing a beaming face. Well, actually two faces, but Balfour was beaming, his arms wrapped around Amery’s shoulders from behind as he showed him the broadcasting device. He held it in one hand and grinned out to the public.]}

Hey everyone! I know I’ve mentioned him before, but this is my brother, Amery! Say hi!

_{[He nudges Amery, intent on his brother making a good impression among his new friends.]}

Hello.

[Amery doesn’t look nearly as happy about this as his brother does, but he’s dealing with it. If only because it’s Balfour.]

It seems my brother has been sharing stories about me in my absence.

Of course I have! You’re my brother!

_{[So obviously, Balfour would be telling tales. He adored and looked up to Amery, after all.]}

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know who he was. Please treat him kindly!

_{[And that goes for you too, Amery.]}

Balfour, though I appreciate the gesture, I do believe I’ll be capable of dealing with people whether or not they decide to treat me kindly.

_{[Balfour sighs, looking at the man he’s draped over for a moment.]}

Amery--

_{[But whatever else he was going to say is lost. He kills the feed just as he begins that sentence. Privacy was a valued thing for Amery, after all. Balfour knew this.]}

[There was nothing but silence for a moment. You didn't have to say it, Caleb. Amery wasn't stupid either; he understood what wasn't said.]

Are they in a relationship?

[He let out a sigh before answering, figuring since he guessed on his own, for the most part, fighting it was stupid]

Yeah. And your brother's in good hands with Reid. He's reckless, but he won't let anything happen to Balfour.

[Because clearly someone has to clarify that before he meets Reid.]

[Balfour hadn't said a word about this to him, though, all things considered, Amery couldn't exactly be surprised. A relationship with another man certainly wasn't the sort of thing their parents would be proud of. It wasn't something Amery had been expecting, either-both the relationship and the fact that it was a man.]

For how long has this been going on?

[He gave a small shrug]

I'm not entirely sure, to be honest.

[He'd probably wind up wanting to explain to Reid it wasn't done on purpose, especially if this wound up turning into a Balfour freaking out kind of situation]

Your brother is happy, though. Very self-conscious, but happy.

[He knows this of Balfour with their brief meetings, yes.]

He's always been self-conscious. He worries far too much for his own good.

[Amery really didn't care that Balfour had a boyfriend-not in the sense that he was upset about it or anything. He was more upset that Balfour hadn't said anything to him about it, but again, he wasn't exactly surprised.]

In the end though, his happiness is what is the most important. So long as there is that, then. Though I think I will have to have a talk with him about this. [About not telling him.]

In that respect, Reid's the best one for him, honestly.

[He laughed lightly. It was true. If anyone could beat self-consciousness out of someone with love, it was Reid]

So long as he takes good care of my brother. I will not tolerate anyone hurting him.

[It was something of a threat, but he was the only family Balfour had to look out for him.

Though when Caleb said he was a good brother, well, he was grateful this was just audio. Or else it would have been obvious how unexpected that was. He was almost somewhat flustered by the comment. It wasn't something he exactly thought was true. There were many times he had failed to be what Balfour needed or wanted from a brother.]

I don't know if everyone would agree to that, but...thank you.
