001 | Video/Action for Crystalden

[Bruno looks more than a little distracted as the camera switches on. That could be because he's busy examining one of the buildings here in Crystalden, obviously absolutely fascinated with everything around him.

The feed literally just shows him staring at the building for a good solid minute before he seems to notice that the camera is on.]

...Oh, right! I forgot about this! [He offers the camera a smile.] Hi! I was just wondering, does anyone actually know where we are? Are we in the future or maybe... [He pauses.] Maybe we've been pulled into a space-time anomaly that dragged us into an alternate universe!! [He obviously thinks this would be Really Neat.]

Any thoughts? You can come talk to me if you're in the area. Uh, I think Crystalden is what they called it... Yeah. [He smiles brightly and then clicks the feed off as he goes back to looking around himself.]

[ For a moment, Yuusei's concerned, but once the rest of Bruno's reaction comes to light - him touching the spot and the way color makes its way to his cheek - he can't help but chuckle a little. ]

Go eat something. If you want, there can be more of that when I'm done.

[ ~~Or he could just follow--~~ ... Why yes, he did just say something like that, and Yuusei smiles as he turns, lifting his arms over his head to stretch as he makes his way down the hall to the bathroom, kicking off his boots and unfastening his jeans as he goes along. For what it was... that turned out rather well, Yuusei thinks. ]

[Bruno can't take his eyes off of Yusei as the man walks away.]

F-for real? [He doesn't really speak loud enough to Yusei to hear him though. Rather than take Yusei's advice and getting some food, though, Bruno just kind of flops back on the bed and stares up at the ceiling, continuing to imagine the feeling of Yusei's lips and...

Wow, okay. He is feeling way too good about this.]

[ Yuusei's showers have always been short, and living a life like the one he has for the past month really hasn't changed that. So he's quick to finish, doing nothing more than ruffling his hair briefly with a towel so it's only damp before wrapping it around his waist. And he really honestly expected Bruno to go get something to eat like he advised, so he feels free to make his way down the hall and to his dresser before--

Oh. Bruno's right there. Yuusei stops, then leans against the wall as he just watches Bruno for a moment, content to remain silent until he's noticed. Seems like a small kiss affected Bruno more than he'd anticipated. Almost makes him wonder what a proper kiss would do to the taller man. ]

[For a while, Bruno is still so wrapped up in his thoughts that he doesn't realize Yusei is out of the shower. When he does, he sits up quickly, very subtly (read: not subtly at all) grabbing a pillow and clutching it on his lap.]

Oh! That was quick! [He laughs a little awkwardly.] I forgot how efficient you are at everything...

[ Efficient indeed, and in a few ways he still likely doesn't know about. Yuusei pushes himself away from the wall (making the towel shift a little lower on his hips, but shh) and makes his way to his dresser to pull out some clothes. He glances over his shoulder though, pausing to take in the rather amusing sight of Bruno with the pillow in his lap. ]

I didn't interrupt anything, did I?

[ Is he sounding amused? Sorry, but it's kind of adorable, the way Bruno's acting. Can anyone really blame him? ]

[Clutching the pillow a little tighter, Bruno can feel his face heating up again.]

No, no! I was just... thinking, that's all! Resting a little after ... everything that's happened today...

[That's nice and vague, right? And why does he even need to be vague, he's already kind of, sort of admitted to being attracted to Yusei... UUUGH.]

[ Uh-huh. Yuusei curls his fingers where the towel is tucked in as he leans over to pull out a shirt from the bottom drawer - because yes, the towel is most definitely hanging off of his other hip where he's not holding - then straightens and looks at the dresser.

Huh. ]

Do you want drawer space, or are you fine with just the closet?

[ Because really, if Bruno would rather have a dresser for his clothes he'll eventually be getting, he'll gladly move his own clothes to one of the closets. ]

[Okay, we're changing the subject, good good. Though Bruno pulls the pillow just a liiiittle bit closer as he watches that towel slipping and....

RIGHT, RIGHT. REPLY TO YUSEI, IT'S OKAY BRUNO.]

O-oh, no. I'm fine with the closet! You don't have to move your stuff for me... [Dammit, Yusei, do you even realize what you're doing to Bruno with your sexy body? Ugh!]

[ Yuusei kind of knows. Only kind of though. It's kind of because of that, that he's not really letting himself turn around, though. He knows exactly what'll happen if he does, because he can just... tell (aside from the fact that Bruno's made it perfectly obvious anyway) the kind of state Bruno's in. So he quietly clears his throat and nods, then goes for a pair of pants, then turns to head down the hall and into his closet to get dressed. Normally he just dresses there by the dresser, but...

He'll at least spare Bruno that embarrassment. Though, he pauses at the doorway of the closet and looks at Bruno on the bed and opens his mouth to speak... then shakes his head as he thinks better of it. ]

Give me a minute.

[ With that, he slinks in to get dressed, leaving Bruno with a moment of peace. ]

[Bruno can't stop watching as Yusei walks away. Damn, damn, damn. He wasn't expecting this when he showed up in this place.]

Yeah, yeah. Just... take your time.

[Forcing himself not to whine, Bruno just flops back on the bed again as soon as Yusei's out of sight. He pulls the pillow off of his crotch and instead buries his face in it, mumbling to himself about how stupid he's being.]

Dumb, dumb. It was just a little kiss, stop acting like this, he's your best friend, it's okay. [And so on.]

[ All Yuusei's really doing is slipping on a pair of boxers, and his pants over top of that, so it takes him all of twenty seconds before he's making his way out of the closet, shirt in hand and ready to pull on-- until he notices Bruno. He hasn't really moved, but the pillow has, and is planted firmly on Bruno's face. And Yuusei can hear the mumbling, but can't quite make out the words until he steps closer, quietly as he sets his shirt back on the dresser.

And maybe his eyes linger a little too long elsewhere, and it does nothing to help him (because just knowing that Bruno's like that has him just as much, really), but he tears his gaze away to focus on Bruno's face. Or rather, the pillow over his face. And he can make out some words, about how dumb he's being, something about a kiss, and... well, maybe he should make things a little more clear for Bruno, even if he still has his doubts of if this is even the right time or place for it. But if there's a chance of them getting separated again, it's best if Bruno knows now, isn't it?

So Yuusei doesn't waste another second, placing a hand on the bed as he swings a leg over Bruno's body and pushes himself up onto the bed, straddling the other as he pulls the pillow away. He gives Bruno a second or two to at least process it a little, but before he can protest, Yuusei presses his lips against Bruno's forcefully. And he swears if Bruno still doesn't get it... well. He'll do more if he needs to. But the moment Bruno says no, no matter what it is, he'll stop. He just needs Bruno to get it, and then they can go along with the rest of their lives with a little more happiness. ]

[Everything is moving a hell of a lot quicker than Bruno could have ever expected them to. And he's not really sure how he's supposed to respond to all of these sensations he's only just experiencing for the first time (in his memory, anyway).

But the moment Yusei straddles him, Bruno's mind goes entirely blank. And when he feels Yusei's lips on his own, Bruno can't help but gasp softly.

It doesn't take him long, though, before he is kissing Yusei back, his hands moving to press against Yusei's chest - not pushing him away, just... touching him.

Though, since Bruno's not particularly used to kissing, it's only a few moments before he actually is gently pushing Yusei away. Gasping softly, Bruno blinks up at the other man.]

Oh... so it wasn't just... [He's flushed, but also seems very pleased.] ...that was nice. [Eloquent.]

[ Yuusei's fine with being pushed away, because just being kissed back is good enough. He never expected it to last very long. ... But that doesn't mean he's quite ready to move, for reasons. He takes the moment to smile down at Bruno though, and he chuckles quietly before pressing another kiss to his lips. Lighter, this time, but still a lingering sort of thing, because a brief kiss just doesn't seem like it's enough. ]

I thought you knew by now that I'm serious about my feelings. [ And that's regarding anything. Though, he slides himself off of Bruno and reaches out for Bruno's hand to help him sit up. ] And I'm serious about you eating something, too. Come on.

[Bruno is pretty certain that his face is bright red right about now. And he's right. It is. He nods a little as Yusei slides off, though he has to take a brief moment to force himself not to gasp at the brief friction.]

Y-yeah. I'll get some food... [Taking Yusei's hand, Bruno pulls himself up and... carefully shifts the pillow into his lap again.]

I think I need to... go to the bathroom real quick first. [He's hoping his reasoning is not too obvious, ugh.]

[ Yuusei honestly can't keep from chuckling a little at that, and he leans forward enough to press a light kiss to Bruno's forehead, giving his hand a squeeze. ]

Take your time, then.

[ Sweetheart, it's obvious. But he turns to leave, grabbing his shirt from the dresser to slip it on before leaving to start making something for himself, at least. ]

[Take his time. Right. Bruno watches Yusei go for a long moment before he gets up and rushes into the bathroom.

And it's actually only a few minutes before the sink runs loudly for half a minute and then Bruno comes out of the bathroom, drying his hands on his pants.

As he enters the kitchen, he looks at Yusei with a liiiittle embarrassment.]

So... what've you got to eat? Do you have any ramen?

[ There's a bit of a knowing smile on Yuusei's lips, but at least he has the decency not to say anything. Though, considering his train of thought until the moment Bruno came into sight, there's still a bit of discomfort, but he got good at ignoring it years ago. Well. Not so much ignoring it than ignoring the urges.

At Bruno's question, he reaches up from his bowl of cereal (healthy, Yuusei) to flip open the cupboard just over his shoulder. There's not much, but there are a few cups of ramen - not for himself, but for just in case. It's clear that he'd kept hoping that someone would make it from home. ]

Just for you.

[Bruno's face lights up and he reaches greedily for one of the cups of ramen.]

It's like you knew I'd be coming, Yusei. [Double entendre totally not intended and completely missed.

Bruno goes to make up some hot water for his ramen.] ...and we don't pay for anything here, do we? How weird is that?

[ Except Yuusei notices, and he has to shift a little where he stands. Damn it, Bruno. He's grateful for the change of topic, though. ]

Yeah, it took a little bit for me to get used to. I still don't take anything unless I absolutely need it.

[ It explains why the cupboards are kind of bare and there's not much of anything in the fridge. Sure, he cooks for Integra, but he usually just plans those meals out and gets the stuff he needs that day. ]

I've been to a few of the other districts, and it's jarring how different they are from one another.

You'll have to take me around sometime. I'm interested in trying to figure out how this place works.

[Once the water's hot, he pours it into the cup, looking eager as he waits for the soup itself to warm up.]

Do you think we could start trading services for things we take? So we don't feel so bad about taking what we need.

[ ... Bruno stop. Yuusei shifts again, but nods as he watches Bruno for a moment. He seems to have forgotten about his cereal, too. Who can blame him, though? ]

I was thinking about that. I've helped a few people since I've been here with things, so I'm sure what we can do will be helpful to others.

[Honestly, Bruno doesn't even realize what he's doing to poor Yusei, wow.]

Great! And in our downtime, we can tune up your bike together. [He is... obviously excited about that too.] Or we can ride around, scouting everything out... [Riding... heh.]

[ Yuusei lets out a strained sort of chuckle at that. Just. Bruno. ]

We can build you one while we're at it. I got lucky by having mine with me. [ Only because he was already riding it. ] But we can do that, too. You can ride with me anytime.

[Please, omg, tell him to stop.

He looks super excited by the idea of riding with Yusei some more.]

I don't really need one of my own! [He always forgets to work on his own anyway... he's always so much more invested in other people's.] Though... having a scooter would make it easier to get around... [He looks thoughtful as he opens up his ramen and starts hunting for some chopsticks.]

[ Yuusei gives a little nod at that. ]

And if you have yours, you won't have to borrow mine for anything.

[ Not that he doesn't trust Bruno with it - hell, he trusts Bruno with his life - but uh. No one rides the D-Wheel without him on it. That's just how it is. ]

I'll start drawing up the plans for it tonight.

[ Because who needs sleep, right? ]
