video / action for anyone in whitewood
[ as the video begins, there's a brief moment where everything is a blur, a sign that whoever has the device is on the move. eventually, the feed stops, and is stopped on a very pissed off fire demon. a little ways behind him is Kurama, who seems just as frustrated at their... situation. ]
Are you capable of reaching it, Hiei?
Hn, of course! I'll snap its wings off if I hav-- [ that sentence goes unfinished as a small fairy swoops down out of nowhere, smacking Hiei in the face. he gives a loud grunt, slightly startled for a moment, but soon enough he recovers, growling as he flares his energy up. ]
If another one of these annoying little shits hits me again, I swear I won't hesitate to burn them alive...-- [ as if on cue, a few more fairies appear, smacking and yanking at the smaller demon's head. he gives a shout, growling and swatting at them away. the fairies are persistent, though, and after a few failed attempts at getting them away, Kurama quickly enters the picture once more, struggling to help get the fairies off him as well... at least until Hiei's energy rises again. ]
Hiei, stop. You'll burn this entire village! [ unfortunately Hiei doesn't seem to be listening, as he readies to fling fire at the nearest fairy. Kurama pulls him back, effectively stopping him from continuing, though, soon enough, there's the sound of a mischievous giggle from off screen. the two of them glance back up to the video, frowning once again. soon enough, Hiei disappears from his spot, and there's a brief yelp before the feed rapidly shifts and eventually ends.
(anyone who's nearby to witness that entire episode will see Hiei coming close to slicing the fairy in half) ]

Who are you? What are you trying to accomplish?
[Text]
[ Hi, this little shit is feeling petulant today. Blame the faeries. ]
What the hell does it matter to you? Who are you?
[Text]
Not you.
[Text]
Demanding answers without even showing your face? Quaint.
[Text] there's going to be a million threadjacks from me, oops
[Text]
Why, Kurama? Some fool just can't come on here and demand information out of us while hiding behind this stupid machine.

[Text]
And what is that, exactly?

THERE'S NO POINT IN MAKING IT PRIVATE BECAUSE YOU'RE RIGHT NEXT TO HIM]There was a young woman who responded. She insisted that we knew one another, but as it is, I've never met her. Normally this would be considered to be a mistaken identity, however... it seems the person she had thought I was, was also named Kurama...
[ there's a serious look on his face, mainly because this situation is still so disorienting. ]

[An attempt at humor, however weak.]

[Humor and innuendo don't translate very well over text, but he is at least trying to cheer her up.]
