[Judai looks pretty bemused as he looks into the camera. It's taken him a while to get to this point, but he's finally coming out of his self-imposed shell to try and figure out more about the world he's been shoved into.]

Hey guys! Uh... and gals. Whatever. My name's Judai and I was just... well, I was wondering a couple of things.

[He pauses and glances off screen, frowning as he makes a grab for something and pops back up a moment later holding a fat cat who seems quite disgruntled at having been caught.]

Okay, first, is there anyone here who knows me? Just... y'know, out of curiosity. And second, even if no one knows me, does anyone wanna be my friend? [He grins, only a touch awkwardly.] I've got Pharaoh here. [He hefts the cat.] So maybe if anyone's got pets, we could have a play date or something!

[He seems pleased with himself for having come up with this idea.]

Oh yeah, there's lots of 'em here. It's kinda like being with duel spirits, except everyone can see 'em and they're not really happy about me being here. [He snickers a little]

Don't rush yourself or anything! It doesn't look like I'm really going anywhere anytime soon... [His wanderlust hasn't really kicked in yet, so that's a bonus.]

[ Yet. Not that Yuusei really knows about that, but there's an inkling as to why Juudai's clearly still wearing a student's uniform and had been... relatively far from any Duel Academia that Yuusei knew of back when they first met. (It's something he admires Juudai for being able to do, because Yuusei knows he could never leave his home for too long - but that's simply his own choice.) ]

It isn't a problem, Juudai-san. [ He just really doesn't like the idea that he can't buy the parts he needs. He has to take it, and it makes him uneasy, so he's just... being slow about it. But hearing the 'duel spirits' part gets a smile out of him. Right on the mark. ] I'd like to see it, and you, so getting everything fixed up won't really involve me working too hard.

[Judai snickers quietly, but then has to make a grab for Pharaoh to keep the cat on his lap, so the camera tilts away from him for a short while before he can pick it up and focus it on himself again.]

Eheheheh. I dunno how you can do it, but hey. I can't say I'm not anxious to see you again too. [Grin.] I can't even explain how nice it is to know there's some familiar faces around...

Suddenly appearing in an unknown world can be overwhelming, but a little less so when you have your friends at your side.

[ Not that Yuusei knows anything about that. There was that one time when he was with Bruno and he couldn't save Sherry but... that's not really quite the same, now is it? ]

Maybe you'll have more of your friends show up soon, too.

[ You know, friends from the proper time. ]

Eheh. Yeah, that's about it. [Nope, not awkward at all. (Except that he is awkward. OTL)]

It'd be great if... Well, if some certain people showed up. [He scratches cheek a little sheepishly.] You're definitely one of the ones I would've chose though. So that's pretty great in and of itself!

[ He didn't mean to bring up bad memories or anything, honest. ~~ahaha Honest~~

Hearing that, though... that actually surprises Yuusei a little, but he recovers as quickly as he can and shakes his head slightly. ]

That's a little hard to believe, but I'll take your word for it.

[ He's... joking. Kind of. Or something. ]

Who else are you wanting to see, though?

[ Just curious, really. ]

[He laughs and gives Yusei a thumbs up.] Hey, you better believe it. We're friends, aren't we? I mean, we're bonded through time and everything! [Gaaaaay.

But then he kind of trails off and looks to the side a little.]

Honestly, I'd love to see any of my friends. Any and all of them, but... [He scratches the back of his head a little and shrugs.] It'd be really nice if Yubel was here...

Yeah, a bond that nothing can break.

[ Nothing at all, okay.

But hearing that, Yuusei furrows his brow - it's a rare sight to see this kind of expression on Juudai's face. Granted, he doesn't know Juudai nearly as well as the rest of his friends do, but it's something that has him concerned nonetheless. ]

I'm sure they'll come soon enough. One of them, at least.

[ Until then, they can just both be wanting their friends from their own times. ]

[It was nice to know that Yusei felt the same way about their bonds. No, really. It was nice.

Judai smiles a little in response to Yusei's words and gives him a thumbs up.]

I'm sure they will too! And your friends as well! I'd like to meet some of your friends. I bet they're great people.

[ ... Well that was relatively easy. It takes a moment before Yuusei can let himself smile again - changing expressions so quickly is still a little strange to him. ]

Likewise, Juudai-san. Maybe it'll be sooner than we think, too.

[Judai's pretty good at swinging back. Don't worry about it, Yusei, you'll get used to it.]

I hope so! [Beams.] But, y'know, we can still hang out before then.

I wouldn't miss out on the chance to do so.

[ And it's true. ]

I'll see you soon, then, yeah?

Sure thing! Can't wait!
