☣ oo1 - video/action for crystalden;
[we all know that crystalden can't be a technological district without it's fair share of scientists residing in it. whether or not there are already scientists living in the area, why not have one more: colress seems to be settled in quite well, despite the abrupt arrival here, and he's perfectly made himself at home in the TRON-esque district (though he'd rather chew off his own arms than be caught dead wearing any of those things they call "clothes").
maybe that explains the easygoing smile he has when the feed turns on with him and his five pokémon displayed-- even though that's an everyday thing, but whatever, details.]
Greetings, citizens! I come to you with the curiosity of a lost soul: I attempted to ask the locals for some information but was met with very little success. The townsfolk in this area don't seem very friendly, do they? [a chuckle.] Anyway: I can already gather that I was brought here without my knowing; the "how's" and "why's" can come later. At the moment, I have another concern at hand.
[it's at this point that he digs into his coat pocket, where he pulls out five small, ball-shaped, metal capsules. he displays them on the feed.]
As you can see, I have only five pokémon in my possession-- originally, I had a full party of six. From what I deduced, I seem to be missing my magneton. If anyone has seen it, I would be very much appreciative if you'd let me know A.S.A.P. If it helps with identification purposes, it has an Eviolite attached to it somewhere...
Ah! Speaking of, another thing I've noticed is the severe lack of pokémon amongst the crowds! Besides the ones I have in my possession-- [he points a thumb behind him, where they all make their own collective noises (mostly mechanical).] --I haven't seen hide or tail of a single pokémon in the area! An odd phenomenon, but perhaps I've simply been looking in the wrong places? I haven't had the chance to completely explore the region beyond Crystalden as of yet.
[he waves his free hand dismissively.] But I digress-- progress will be made in due time. In the meantime, if any pokémon trainers happen upon this message, please know that I am wholeheartedly interested in a possible battle to gauge your pokémon's strength at any point in the future!
...For research purposes, of course. [:)]

Yep. I'm a pokemon. Ultra super rare. You might even call me legendary.
One question though.
no subject
Fascinating... All this time and I've yet to encounter a pokémon capable of speaking like a human...
...Oh? A little unorthodox, but by all means!

I can't say I don't hold any distaste for them, although I have yet to encounter any during my travels. I suppose you could say I'm indifferent towards them!
[the joke
his head]

Anyway-... [Oh, yes. He's trolling Colress, but he isn't going to go too far. Fiction or not, multiverse dictates anything is possible, thus all concepts are legit. It's just really funny.]
no subject
Do you perhaps bear an affinity for water? [a water-type legendary that can speak human wowowowow]

Tell me, what are you called?
no subject
Hmmm. Ooh. Shadoleon. Yeah. [No. That's lame. Goddamnit. Just roll with it.]
no subject
just look at the elemental birds from gen 1.]It is an honor! Tell me, would you allow a most humble scientist battle you-- for my research, of course?
[despite his innocent request, there's a certain Glint in his eye. this guy isn't exactly the kind you'd want to trust.]

[and he moves, navigating his communicator to show his entire party behind him, consisting of a metagross, a beheeyem, a rotom in its Wash forme, magnezone, and a klinklang. they all make their respective noises in greeting to mr. shadoleon.]
As I said earlier I'm short one magneton, but I imagine it wouldn't be much of a problem, would it?

[He's not even sure what any of those are, having only played the games as a kid he just remembers one thing. Kill it with fire. That usually worked for him. Until you got to the water gym in which case you died.]
What do I get if I win?
no subject
Not that I think about it, I've never heard of a legendary asking for a prize in return for their victory... [the challenger usually just got killed, but this was a requested practice battle so like hell he'd get killed. what would he want, anyway, a slab of meat?]
I suppose as long as it's not too debatable, I can offer whatever you wish!
no subject
[Would a pokeball actually work on him? Probably not. Besides, he always used a cheating device. But no easy win here. Just nostalgia and strategy and and some flammable materials.]
no subject
[he's pretty sure a measly pokéball wouldn't work on him since this guy is a ~*~legendary~*~... but colress isn't above using other, dirtier means to attempt to catch the creature... should he ever decide to.]
no subject
[He needs to collect a few items of interest before they have their battle.]
