Introduction ☪ [Video]

[As the feed starts all you see at first is black and some muttering. Yup, looks like Pogue accidentally covered up the video part of it. Oh well he figured it out! Hello Mallowhallow!!! Have a Pogue for your viewing pleasure. He seems to have found himself an apartment, not that he plans to get too comfortable. Right now he'd rather be home...making sure Kate and everyone else was safe.]

Alright so all week my phone has been going off because of peoples introductions. Thought I'd finally do one myself.

[Insert a put upon sigh here before he rolls over on....his bed? Yeah his bed.]

So my names Pogue and apparently I am currently a resident of Orlea. I was originally from Ipswich Massachusetts, and if there are people who don't know where that is...it's in America...on planet Earth.

[There's a pause where he has that clearly says he doesn't know how he feels about having to clarify.]

Anyways I mostly wanted to get this out there to see if I could find anyone I know. I doubt it but hey it's worth a shot.

Yeah I ran into him the first day here....wait.

[There's that look of realization.]

_{[It takes him a moment to realize why Pogue is going to kill Reid. He holds his hands up and shakes his head.]}

Maybe he just didn't think to say anything? I mean, he's gotten quite used to me by now. Maybe he just didn't think?

_{[Or maybe Reid was as into the wtfs as Balfour was? Either way, please don't kill his friend.]}

Trust me, this was not a mistake. Reid's always doing stuff like this.

[Don't worry he wouldn't really Reid. After all they had grown up together. It'd be like killing a brother. He just sighs and shakes his head.]

I guess I should be used to this.

[He'll look back at this and laugh...at some point.]

Well I will admit that I was tempted not to say anything, myself, but Tyler said that Reid was off limits to mess with. From that, I also deduced that you, as one of his other close friends, were also off limits.

_{[Nope, if you hurt him, Balfour's going to pout at you. Like a kicked puppy.]}

[Yup, he's sighing. Looks like he gets to be Mr. Serious if Caleb isn't there. Man, he hates having to play that role. Meh, he can have fun still...maybe.]

Well thanks, I'd feel like an idiot if that went on too long.

[No...not the kicked puppy pout. If it's anything like Tyler's then Pogue would have a hard time.]

_{[Yes, the kicked puppy pout. And considering he looks just like Tyler, it's going to be just as bad. All big eyes and wobbly lip and not a lot of eye contact because he's pouting like a damn kicked puppy.

Don't worry about it. It's an easy mistake to make, truly. You're not the first who thought I was Tyler.

[Thankfully. Pogue wouldn't last a minute against those eyes.]

Yeah. Let me guess, Reid?

[Okay so maybe he was in a better mood, knowing that there was a chance Reid had made the same mistake.]

Yes. So far, you, him, and Tyler are the only ones I know of your group. I'll admit Tyler took it best. He was a bit weirded out, but he wasn't unnerved or confused by it.

_{[Unlike him. Balfour had screamed.]}

Yeah, I can see that.

[Don't worry...Pogue would freak if he ever saw someone with his face.]

_{[Balfour chuckles.]}

Well, either way, it's nice to meet you.

[Look at that, Pogue is finally making friends outside of the 'Sons of Ipswich'. He really needed to do that more often.]

Indeed, but I have a feeling that this will happen at least once more.

_{[That he's not intending, at least. Most likely, since three of the four were there, the fourth would show up eventually. Balfour's sort of counting on it.

But does he really count as being 'outside'? Though he certainly doesn't know them from home, he looks just like Tyler.

Dude....if Caleb shows up here, I would love to see his reaction.

[And there's that grin, and a mischievous spark in his eyes. Yup, this was proof that he was friends with Reid, he could appreciate a good wtf moment too! Just not so much when it's directed at him....right away. He's still sure he'll be able to look back at this and laugh.]

_{[Balfour laughs and nods a bit, rubbing a hand over his face, white glove stark against his skin.]}

That sounds like a most brilliant idea, though I won't let the farce go on too long.

_{[Honestly, it was easy to tell the difference between him and Tyler once you got them talking. Balfour's voice, though the same, was quieter and a bit more proper.]}

Yeah, well Caleb would probably notice if he heard you talk. He's the one who pays the most attention to these things.

[The more Pogue talks to Balfour the more he's actually noticing the differences. As long as Balfour doesn't talk he could probably confuse him for Tyler....but not for too long.]

Ah, yes, he does speak rather a bit louder than I do...

_{[Not to mention their wording was a little different, but he chalks that up to being from different worlds.]}

I'm sure that, with time, I could convince others quite well that I am Tyler... For a while.

_{[Until the personal questions start.]}

Maybe.

[Pogue laughs and shrugs.]

Maybe with some practice.

_{[Balfour chuckles, but is silent for a few moments before he raises his voice and slouches just a touch, no longer holding that air of being raised with nobility.]}

_{[Spoilers: no, probably not. Work on your wording, kid.]}

Not quite, close though. Maybe a little more...

[Pogue is trying to figure out what missing and then he notices. Yup, definitely the eyes.]

I think it's more the eyes...a bit more of the puppy eyed look. And your wording.

_{[More puppy eyes, you say? Okay, he can comply. His eyes widen just a touch.]}

Not much I can do about the wording.

_{[Though leaning toward how some of the others spoke sounded good.]}

I'll work with it, though?

[Pogue's laughing, really the whole idea of helping someone imitate one of his best friends is more than amusing.]

_{[Balfour just laughs, soft and dark, shaking his head. Oh, yes, he likes this Pogue guy.]}

You guys are really bad influences.

Hey! I can be a good influence...I just don't want to. Besides once Caleb gets here he'll be a good enough influence to counter all our bad influence, trust me.

Being the good influence when everyone else is having fun is boring, I agree.

_{[He chuckles. He's been in that situation.]}
