Yes. That is quite impressive, especially for a pony. You must tell me a more about where you come from sometime.

But first, could you explain to me what a 'changleing' is? I would guess that it has something to do with changing forms? And how did you defeat one if you do not have a style of combat?

[Kodachi has no problem, nor sees any problem with teaching a pony martial arts, should the opportunity arise. It's peculiar enough to tickle her fancy.]

[Pinkie opens her mouth to answer what Equestria’s like right away, but the question about Changelings has HR changing tack quickly.]

"Yep! That's exactly it! They can be any pony at all and their queen tried to take over the whole of Canterlot!"

[Pinkie's a chatty one isn't she? Kodachi decides eventually it's best to start packing up and starting there search since there won't likely be any shortage of chit-chat. She finishes her cup, then starts to gather everything together.]

We've never had events like that happen where I am from; it certainly sounds exciiting in a way, though. Hmn, so you and your friends worked together to defeat them. Well, Miss Pony, I think that having a form of self defense would be very beneficial for you since your other friends are not about at the moment.

[Pinkie follows Kodachi's lead - being careful not to slurp! - then hands the bowl back.]

"Yep, we work together a lot!" [She heaves a little sigh, she misses them!

But she perks up once more.]

"Sounds great! Especially if I find Gummy, he might need protecting."

[After taking the bowl, she proceeds to pack everything into her basket. She can already see the possibilities with having a little prankster combatant for a partner- It should be fun!]

Well, Miss Pony, if it's any consolation, I believe you and I shall be working together 'a lot' as well. Now then, we shall get started to Mallow Hallow- Out of curiosity, is there baking in this 'Canterlot'?

[With her items gathered up, she's ready to take the lead- and does so!]

"I hope so! I can tell we're gonna have loooooads of fun."

[Kodachi nods, seeming to agree this could be the start of a beautiful friendship indeed! It's quite a long trek back to Mallow Hallow, but it would seem Pinkie has no shortage of chit-chat! Unfortunatly it is a little difficult for the gymnast/knight to follow at times.

SOME TIME LATER

Kodachi and Pinkie arrive at MH, and shortly after that arrive at a pond... A pond made of blue pillows, of course. She doesn't seem impressed by it.]

Hmnn.. I suppose we could start here. Though I am uncertain how exactly one swims in a pond of this nature. [A glance to Pinkie.] Any ideas?

[Action/Mallowhallow]

[Indeed! If you look up ’talkative’ in the dictionary there’d be a picture of Pinkie... That would pop out and start chatting!

On arrival at the Pillow Lake and Kodachi’s comment Pinkie assesses the situation for a few moments.]

"I guess...just dive in!"

[So she does! Sending up a splash of tiny white pillows!]

[Action] Ergh, missed the notif. orz

[The Black Rose doesn't really seem to mind the chattiness at all, though some things she just.. Doesn't know how to respond to other than smiling and nodding!

As for Pinkie's dive.. How about that? Perhaps Kodachi shouldn't be so surprised by the splash of pillows but she is!

Kodachi drops to a kneeling position at the pond's edge and waits expectendly.]

Well .. I did not know pony's can swim.

[Action] Oh man, I thought I tagged this! So sorry!

"Of course we can swim! How else would we stay cool in summer? Aside from ice cubes, and icecream and fans..." [Hmmm, well, either way, ponies can swim.

Even in Pillow Ponds it seems, although that could just be Pinkie. The pond does feel and act like regular water though... Pinkie splashes about.]

"Gummy? Gummeeeeee! Are you in here?"

[Action] It's ok~.

[Kodachi, however, finds herself at a loss in trying to explain in what way- so she'll just have to let it go. But she gets a bit into the spirit of the district's nonsense and withdraws her gymnasts ribbon from her basket, attatches a bread crumb to it, then tosses the ribbon into the water.]

Anyhow, I shall assist as wel-- Did you say fans? As in.. Folding fans?

"Yep! And the ones with the blades that go whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" [Pinkie does quite an accurate impression of an electric fan, complete with head movements.

She watches hopefully as Kodachi’s ribbon disappears beneath the pillows, Gummy loves wet bread.

Is that a tug?!]

[Kodachi stares at Pinkie for a moment or two. Well, electric fans -do- have buttons to press but.. How are batteries changed? The line of thought is thrown off by Pinkie's impression and a bead of sweat falls down the side of her face.]

I.. I see..

[Suddenly there's a bite? Kodachi's lips purse and she stands up to tug the line back since she can't really reel it in.]

Ah! I believe I've caught something! .. Easy.. Eaaasy!

Finally the ribbon emerges from the water and dangling from the end...

Is a pillow fish.

But! Disappointment is only fleeting because in the wake of the fish appears...]

[For a brief moment, Kodachi understands the thrill of fishing! .. However she'll get over that soon enough; she's a gymnast not a fisher! For a brief moment, though, she's both disappointed as well as confused to capture a pillow -fish-. But then even more perplexing is the gator rising afterward.

That is Gummy?

I was expecting it to be.. Well.. Bigger.

"Yes!" [Pinkie sweeps the toothless alligator into her hooves and somehow makes a flying leap out of the pillow pond. It’s better you don't think too hard about it.]

"Say hello to Kodachi, Gummy! Our new friend!"

[Kodachi.. Decides not to, yes. As far as she's concerned, the rules of Mallow district just go right out the window. Because it's the district's fault and not Pinkie, you see.

Still, it is a little charming to see Pinkie so happy- she can certainly relate to being reunited with a pet. She shakes the pillowfish off her ribbon.]

Ah.. H- Hello, Gummy. How do you do?

[She stands there, expecting him to talk back.]

[Action] IKR? Pinkie is *always* cute!

[Alas Gummy can't speak, he’s actually not a that expressive, truth be known.

Still Kodachi will get a sense that he's glad to be found and that any friend of Pinkie’s is a friend of his.]

"Ohmigosh! I can't believe we found him so quickly! You’re the best!"

[He.. Doesn't talk? Well.. Well then! Kodachi supposes that pets must be some sort of lower form of species or something, and she decides it may be wiser not to ask about it.

That said, she's all for being praised, and she raises her hand to her lips as she titters.]
