[ The video turns on to show a teenage boy wearing a bunny hoodie. ]

Does.. anybody know how I can go home? Because I have to get back. [ He looks rather calm. Or maybe he's just pretending, because after speaking the video shakes slightly for a bit. ]

Earth was supposed to be disappearing, so why isn't this place then? Is this place even a part of Earth? Or something else? [ He shakes his head ] It doesn't matter I guess. I just need to go home. So please if anybody knows how to, please tell me! ... It's very important.

And he turns up in the night club. Well, outside the building. ]

[Kaname was sitting on an expensive couch on the second floor by the window. The moon was shining on him, and he was busy drinking blood-spiked rum. Hibiki might be approaching, but Kaname won't easily notice. He's mind is somewhere else, watching over his sister.]

[ Hibiki walks towards Kaname... Heck, what is he drinking..? Oh well. He'll.. ask later.

As he approaches Kaname, he calls out to him: ] Kuran-san!

[He never gave a startled expression, though he did slowly turn his head towards Hibiki]

You made it. [He offered the seat across the pureblood.]

Ah thank you. [ And Hibiki will go to sit across Kaname. ]

So uhm.. What are the job requirements?

[He simply nods while twirling his drink and watching Hibiki's every movement and expression carefully.]

Can you handle vampires?

[ Vampires? Slightly shocked but he still looks calm. ] I.. didn't know vampires actually existed.

[ Hibiki stays silent for a while, thinking... Then he asks: ] What do you mean by 'handle' them?

[He chuckles lightly and looks at Hibiki with his brown eyes suddenly glowing ruby red] Forgive me, but you're looking at one.

[ Hibiki swallows in... fear maybe. And he stiffens slightly.

This is a vampire.. Have a cautious but calm look. ]

Is there anything I need to know about vampires?

[He chuckles a little more, quite amused at the young man's reaction]

Tell me, what do you currently know? [He takes one more sip of his drink and offering him a glass of champagne.]

[ When Kaname offers Hibiki the champagne, he wanted to decline it but.. that'll be rude won't it? Thus, he'll take that reluctantly. ]

.. That they suck blood. [ ... ] And can kill people.

[Kaname could easily read Hibiki's thoughts through his actions. This amused him even more.]

Is that all you know? [Clearly, he's not denying this.]

.. Yeah. [ He fiddles with the glass cup. ]

I knew it, they can do more, can't they?

But in this realm, I'm the vampire whom you need to fear the most.

[ Hibiki freezes for an instant, then regains his calm. He closes his eyes and breathes in.

Sure he's afraid of this new vampire thing but... He's gone through demons and stuff. He breathes out and opens his eyes, and gives the vampire a determined and calm look. This won't be enough to stop him. ] Even so, I still need a job, Kuran-san.

Are you capable of defending yourself?

[ ... ] Yeah. [ But is it enough? Hm.. ]

But I'll need to know about the abilities of the vampires that I have to handle.

[He grants Hibiki a short smile]

Some can control wind, some can control fire, some can cause you to levitate, some can move at the speed of light, some can turn into astral creatures, some have inhuman strength, some can control your will, and some can kill you in an instant. [By some, he means him.]

[ ... That's rather.. worrying ]

When will they use their powers..? [ don't tell him all the time come on.. ] And do they have any weaknesses?

They can use it whenever they want to. [In fact, he's using it right now. He's using astral bats to monitor everything happening in the city.]

Anti-vampire weapons. Though only one person has it in the whole city.

[ ... ] Who is this person? [ Maybe he can get some from this person or what. He'll manage somehow. ]

Anyway I think that I could.. manage vampires. [ probably ]

You don't need to know him. And if you'll work in my establishment, I suggest you never know him. [Zero will never share]
