Her accent is foreign, just a touch middle-eastern sounding, but mostly just alien.]

It's hard to get a read on him. He's afraid of me, which is... really fuckin' with me, t'be honest. I'm worried his memories aren't gonna come back.

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you thought of taking him to a doctor, perhaps? They might be able to help jar his memories, some way or another.

I haven't. I guess I could try it. Always been a bit shifty about doctors.

I've never seen 'im like this. Not sure how to act around him. He always has the plan, y'know? I just play along.

Shifty? Don't you trust their medical expertise?

[She makes a little humming noise, thoughtful.]

It's disconcerting when someone isn't acting themselves. I would advise you not to panic. He needs someone calm.

Eh, it's not even that. Just never real enthusiastic about bein' poked n' prodded. But as far as Jim is concerned, they just ask too many bleedin' questions.

I'm tryin' t'stay calm around him, at least. He's already scared of me, no need to make it worse.

I see. Well, my offer of help still stands. Anything at all...I could even attempt to cook, if that's not something you particularly enjoy.

I actually love to cook, but I wouldn't say no t'you joinin' us for dinner sometime. I love to show off, too.
