001 || [Video]
[The video feed comes online, and for a few moments, nothing but the evening sky and the top of someone's head. There's quiet mumbling, incoherent and drowned out by the sounds of hands fumbling around with the communication device. It's kind of apparent that he has no idea, and it's definitely true. Samandriel's never used human technology, or whatever this is, so he's definitely a little lost on what to do and how to do it. Angels don't normally need this sort of thing, okay?
Regardless, it's not too long before the shaky image lowers and the face of a young man comes into view, the streets of Orlea in the background, and he looks a little...distressed. On top of that, he's confused, and highly anxious, all of which manages to come across in his expression and movements, the way he twitches a little just once in a while, and how he often glances around himself. Though, it's not clear if he's trying to figure out where he is, or if he's looking around with the fear that someone might find him. Eventually, a faint breath is drawn, and eyes are looking at least in the general direction of the camera.]
...Hello? I, ah... I was told I could communicate with others through this device? I don't fully understand, but... I don't understand very much of what's happened today. It's all...very confusing. [The corners of his mouth tug down in a light frown for a moment, then he shakes his head as thought he's done trying to sort it out.] In any case, it seems that somehow, I'm stuck here...
[There's a pause, and something of a resigned sigh as he wonders whether being stuck here might be better than still being back where he had been before. Things had been grim, and now...well, now he had little idea of what was going on, but it was better than pain at least. There had been a lot of that before he'd found himself here, too.]
My name is Samandriel. I...don't suppose any of my siblings are here? It seems unlikely, but a familiar face would prove nice at this moment... Or even perhaps someone who could direct me to somewhere to stay?
[There's a hopeful look into the camera, though it soon dissolves back into distress, and he glances away once more.]

Seeing Samandriel on the video feed, however, was enough to edge him out of his own little world. ]
Samandriel? You're... [ Alive, is what he wanted to say but he stopped himself before he did. ] Are you alright, brother?

[The sound of that particular voice snaps Samandriel's attention back to the device in his hands, to which he stares down at in nothing short of shock. Certainly, he was hoping for someone he knew to be here, but he wasn't actually expecting it.]
Me? I'm... Yes, I think so, all things considered...
[He's still a little sore, he supposes, but things could be much worse, so he's not about to complain. And the last thing he remembers before waking up here is Castiel saving him - he knows nothing about what happens after - so perhaps it's even more of a relief to see him again. This comes across in a faint whisper of a smile as his eyes look his brother over quickly.]
And you? I...wasn't anticipating seeing you here, but I must admit that a familiar face is a relief to see.

What? I'm fine. [ A distracted answer, quickly overshadowed by his continued speech. ] It's good to see you, Samandriel. The last time I saw you, you... [ There's a pause. ] were in a lot of pain.
no subject
Ah... Yes, I-- I was. [He's still rather sore, in all honesty, but it's nothing near as bad, and at least he's been cleaned up?] That was the last time I saw you, as well. It...wasn't all that long ago, as I recall it...
[A hand rubs at his head absently, his brow furrowing in thought and confusion as he continues.]
...Though I'm not certain of how much time has passed...

This place appears to be some sort of... nexus of multiple universes. [ And timelines too, apparently. ] There are many different creatures here but as far as I can tell, Crowley isn't here. Neither are his demons. And if they do show up, they won't harm you again. [ He was determined to get it right this time. ]

[That bit of information has him glancing around curiously. Multiple universes? How strange.]
That would explain some of the rather odd things I've seen... [It's mumbled thoughtfully, but his gaze quickly turns back to Castiel, expression darkening at the mention of Crowley and his demons.] Thank you, Castiel. It's...good to know there will be someone to watch out for me, but...hopefully it won't be necessary. It seems possible that they won't find their way here--I'm not even certain of how I got here. Perhaps we will be the only ones from our "universe" to end up here?
[He's going to hope so, because in all honesty, being in a world that's lacking Crowley actually sounds pretty great to him. At least that's one weight off his shoulders.]
