Hey chicklets, how you all been? Nothing's been blown up yet, has it?

Got a word of advice for you, though. [ She holds up a bottle that has only a mouthful of liquid left in it. ] Fuckin' moderation. Apparently fairies know a thing or two about liquor. [ Annnd then she gulps down the last of her drink in one go, grimacing and sticking her tongue out in disgust after it's gone. ]

[ So yeah hi world, Apollo's basically been on a bender for a week (or more, hell if she remembers at this point) so she hasn't been paying attention to anything. From the disheveled look of her, she probably just woke up for the day (even though it's afternoon) and is somewhere between hungover and still a little drunk from the night before. The woman is also wearing an excessive amount of shiny, mostly gold jewelry - some of it's left red marks on the skin of her face and chest where she fell asleep on it, other pieces are literally weaved into her little (now falling apart) braids. ]

Anyway, I discovered a disturbing lack of shit to kill here. Come on, aren't there any dragons or sea monsters or giant tigers or some shit I can wrestle to the ground and shoot in the face? Gods, girl's gotta get some energy out once in a while, you know.

[ If Apollo ever found out that his horns were more of a weakness than the strength she assumed them to be, she would probably never let him forget it. For now, though, she continued to treat them with higher regard than they really needed.

As prepared as she was for him to come to her, she had become spoiled in her most recent battles by annoyingly slow opponents. ] Woah! [ But because of Apollo's excellent reaction time (and because she was currently defensive of her upper back due to it still being a bit tender from an earlier adventure-gone-wrong), the woman managed to just barely avoid being hit by suddenly dropping to all fours. Still on the ground, she spun around so she could face him again. Never one to overtly strategize and instead simply react, Apollo made the immediate decision to bow her head and charge upwards in an attempt to flat out headbutt him in the stomach as hard as she could. ]

[Damn. She was definitely a quick one, disappearing from his site when he took the moment to blink. And at first he thought she would dive under him and attack from behind. But as soon as he heard a rustle from beneath him he realized this was a mistake, but it was a little too late as she launched into him. Realizing there was no time to block the encounter he accepted it and used the closeness to finally grab her. He could feel as the air was knocked out of him and the force lift him momentarily off his feet before they both fell to the ground in a tangle of limbs. His grip wasn't secure but he refused to let go, and even before he regained some clarity he was moving to try and pin her to the ground, his breath coming out in quick spurts as he tried to regain it without the use of his mouth.]

[ Though she was trying her hardest to keep the upper hand, Apollo couldn't stop tumbling down to the ground with him during their scuffle. There she found that trying to wriggle free from his grip wasn't as easy as she would have assumed - good god he was determined - and when she realized he was trying to pin her down, the woman fought against him even more. She grabbed at him where ever she could as they struggled against each other, trying to at least keep him from dominating her if she couldn't manage to wrestle him into submission herself. ]

[ A normal guy would probably feel shady about wrestling a girl to the ground and trying to dominate over them, but that didn't even process through his mind. Apollo was definitely strong, but he was still stronger, the only inference being those hands grabbing at him and keeping him from getting the right angle on her to trap her. Another problem was her small frame which proved to be an even larger difficulty. He was so large compared that he was constantly worried about her just sliding out of the hold and escaping. And finally, he was very weary of the possibility of claws. He wouldn't be surprised considering her fighting style and the way she had hissed at him earlier. And claws tended to hurt.]

[ Normal people who felt weird about wrestling with a chick were boring people anyway, as far as Apollo was concerned. And as much as she didn't like knowing that someone might be physically stronger than her, she was clever enough to eventually realize she might need an alternative approach. The difference in size between them was the most readily obvious, so it would have to do. Ultimately Apollo would have liked to shove his face in the dirt (mostly for shits and giggles and because they were already rolling around on the ground anyway), but all she could do now was try to wiggle away where ever she saw him struggling to trap her. Seemed she wasn't interested in backing off this time though, if the way she was still clearly trying to win out over him while also trying to escape was any indication. ]

[Strength didn't mean nothing if you couldn't touch a person. And that was exactly the problem he was facing right now. Her persistence paying off after a while, as he became off balance while trying to stop her from escaping to the right just after placing a hand down near the left side of her head. He fell to the left, shoulder hitting the ground first and plume of dirt coming up around him. On the way down he also hit the tip of his horn, wincing and falling the rest of the way, letting his back hit the dirt. But this was a short opening for Apollo, for in a moment his hands where by his side in an attempt to push himself up, and regain dominance over the situation.]
