Is this what the Queen's report meant? Because if it is, I'm not telling anyone - I'm enjoying this!

[So you hear, if you're standing outside on Orlea's main street... from some distance above you. Looking up, you'll find Rikka floating around everywhere, occasionally swooping around next to people. And she's grinning all the while.

After a little bit of this, she perches atop a building, sitting on its edge, and pulls her phone out.]

So I like this whole flying thing, but... any idea why it's happening?

It seems to be. No pretext or anything, just... one moment I'm walking, the next I can fly.

[She grins.]

It's an amazing feeling.

Yeah, I guess it must be. (If you're not scared of heights, that is.)

So is it something you can control completely, or does it happen at random?

I don't get to do things like this at home, so it's something I'm enjoying while I've got it.

I have control over it. I can turn it off when I want, and it's not as hard to actually move as I thought it would be.

[He was doing some shopping when he heard the girl. Being from Whitewood he hasn't been granted that power... But then again he didn't need it as he could already do that. He teleports to where she is, standing on the air after materializing from a sudden swarm of red glowing cicadas.]

According to the report, the portals used to bring us here aren't as stable as they should be. And in their instability they are making us instable, hence the "new" powers.

Ack-! [Rikka's shocked by the sudden appearance in midair, enough to start falling forward. There's a beat before she remembers she can fly, righting herself and returning to her ledge.]

That explains it, I guess... though I hope they don't mess with our existing powers. I'm assuming not, since that doesn't look like how I'm flying.

[He probably is a terrible person for not rushing to help her... Except that there was really no need for it given how she could fly. And actually he has been curious as to see if death is treated in this place in the same way as it was in Luceti. So he remains calm and still as he watches her fall and quickly rights herself.]

Indeed, I haven't noticed any adverse effects to my powers so far. At least not beyond those effects that have been in place since I arrived here.

[He can't help to let a bit of the irritation that he feels on the matter slip on his tone at that last sentence.]
