She gives the screen a small, relaxed smile - this is her element, and she feels more at home now than she has since she arrived.]

I should certainly hope so.

I'm more used to this kind of thing, really - well, perhaps nothing quite this old - but wooden buildings and a more rustic atmosphere.

That sort of thing is totally unfamiliar, honestly. I feel like I belong halfway between Orlea and Crystalden.

I'm just the opposite, really - I feel I belong somewhere between Orlea and Highcrest. All of those...things in Crystalden are beyond me, I'm afraid.

Some of that stuff is wild even for me, but Orlea's a bit behind what I'm used to. It's jarring.

I can see how it would be. And the ah...the magic users? Is that also something you've had to adapt to?

Like you wouldn't believe. And then I talk to someone I recognize and it turns out there's been magic in my own world this whole time.

How intriguing. And you did not know of it before?

We had newcomers to my world, as well, and they brought magic with them - so that, at least, is somewhat familiar to me.

I had no idea. [ Or that her daughter's best friend had gotten involved with it - probably killed by that involvement. ]

Hopefully, it's trustworthy.

I am sure there will be problems - there certainly were on my world. But hopefully, not too many, and nothing too serious.

Just getting used to it here, where it belongs, is going to take some effort.

I have been there, certainly. I remember how difficult it was to come to terms with it at first. If you'd ever like someone to talk to, I would be more than happy to oblige.
