[Assassin has been dutifully following her Master's orders, tracking one of the natives as part of the "game" he proposed to her. Sometimes, though, something else catches her eyes, and she finds herself distracted from the task at hand. This is one of those times.]

[Her target lives in Orlea, and from what she has gathered, music is one of his primary hobbies. So, it's no surprise when tailing him eventually leads to her following him into a store centered on as much. She has never really had the chance to listen to music before, much less any of the modern sort, so it isn't long before her attention falls away from him and onto the racks of CDs.]

[This is the backdrop when she decides ask a question of the populace at large. She wastes no time on an introduction or an explanation when she opens her mouth.]

What kinds of music are good?

[After this question is asked, if anyone is in the area and interested in stopping by the store, they may find Assassin inside, headphones held over her ears as she listens to whatever CD she happens to be sampling at the time. She has been picking what to listen to by how much she likes its name, which is maybe a little childish, but she is a child.]

[Pharos thinks about this for a moment- not stumped on the question, just thinking about how to say it.]

I don't think it's really separated like that, for most Shadows. But for me... I exist because people desire the Fall.

It isn't? [She kind of assumed that had something to do with the way they were classified, but...] "The Fall"?

[darkhourdear]

[Pharos just nods, looking out and smiling as they cross the border.] We're here.

[smallskull]

But what's... Oh!

[She perks up as they reach Astralfield, momentarily distracted as she looks around.]

I haven't been here before. You should show me around after we find a [another?] Shadow.

[Normally, she's fine with studying a district's layout on her own, but she wants to keep spending time with Pharos.]

Alright. Let's go this way. [The scenery tends to change a bit each day, but he likes it. More things to explore.]

Okay!

[It would probably frustrate her, since she's used to being able to memorize the layout of an area quickly. She falls quiet, though, as her head turns this way and that. This place is strange, so she takes in all the details eagerly.]

[Pharos is happy to just walk around with a friend, and he only pauses when he sees something of interest.] That's a restaurant, isn't it?

[smallskull]

Huh? [She stops when he does, looking toward the building he has focused on.] Shouldn't you know?

[darkhourdear]

Things change here a lot. [But! Going to go investigate.]

[smallskull]

They change? [But, she follows after him. After all, if neither of them know, there's only one way to find out.]

[darkhourdear]

Every night. [It is, in fact, a restaurant! Doesn't appear to have pizza, though...]

[smallskull]

Doesn't that make it hard to find your way around? [No pizza, but Assassin leans up on her toes slightly to peer around. Maybe there's something else here she's interested in trying...]

[Well, there is a lot of delicious looking food on people's tables...] A little, but I don't mind.

[smallskull]

[Well. She makes a mental note of this, so she doesn't get confused when she's stalking him exploring the area later.]

Are you hungry?

[She doesn't really get hungry or need to eat, but that's besides the point.]

[darkhourdear]

[He doesn't either, really.] No. But those look interesting... are you?

[smallskull]

Oh. Do you want to eat?

[Well, she'll just rephrase her question, then.]

[darkhourdear]

Sure. [But if she doesn't want to, he doesn't mind if they skip it.]

[smallskull]

Okay, then let's eat.

[She likes trying new foods.]

[darkhourdear]

[Pharos heads in and sits down at a table (which is luckily appropriate for this place), taking a menu from the waitress who comes around. He's not sure why she's smiling at them like that.]

...Do you know what any of these are?

[smallskull]

Um... Not really.

[What is a hamburger? We just don't know.]

[darkhourdear]

[hm... but look, he has an idea!]

Maybe we can both pick something and then share, so we can try two things! [this is genius right here.]

[smallskull]

[That idea apparently pleases Assassin, since, though she doesn't smile, her eyes brighten and she sits up straighter in her seat. Go teamwork!]

Okay! That's a good idea!

[And then she immediately shoves her nose back in the menu, trying to decide what she wants to try. The pictures are a little surreal and not strictly helpful, but she'll make do.]

[Well, Pharos has picked one of the special hamburger... things. He'll just point at the picture and ask for that when the waitress comes around again.]

[smallskull]

[And then lunch was pie.]

I want that!

[She doesn't know exactly what "coconut" is, but coconut cream pie sounds fun.]
