[Seiko needed time. Time to come to grips with the fact she was alive, yet alone. Time to lament and be her not-so-bubbly self. So she took it.

Now, she feels more up to talking to people, and thanks to the time alone, pretty much figured out how the weird, see-through phone in her hands worked. So she turns on the video option and smiles, knowing that any small movement of her head would show the marks around her neck.]

Yaho~. My name's Seiko Shinohara. I'm from Kisaragi Academy, class 2-9. It looks like we're all in the same boat, so I hope we all get along.

[She bows, then comes back up, still smiling.]

So, am I the only one here who's supposed to be dead?

Sorry for all the questions! I'm Maya Fey. I'm a spirit medium so I was kind of curious what was going on with you. Not that I still have much of an idea, but at least I know you won't eat my brain!

Like I said, it's a long story... One I'd rather not tell over this thing.

[Mostly since a lot of people would call her story nuts.]

Don't worry. You don't have to tell me. Death's a pretty personal thing anyway. [She's nosy, but there's some things she can respect. Even though Seiko seems so young to be dead. Not like she knows this happens but it's still pretty sad. But Maya smiles widely anyway because hey, don't be glum around someone like this.]

Where are you staying? I'm in Astralfield!

[Seiko thinks maybe she would feel better after talking about it. But for now, she smiles.]

I'm in Crystalden. We have these nifty see-through cell phones.

[Maya would probably offer an ear. She just doesn't want to force a morbid conversation on someone.]

Mine's a chalkboard! That also works as a camera? It's a little weird. Everybody knows it's all about whiteboards, but hey I can draw cute pictures for people. I feel just like a young Picasso.

Chalkboard...? Ah, you're in the same district as that Phoenix guy.

Phoenix? We talking about spiky hair that may be just a little too spiky or someone else?

That's the one. You know him?

Yep! I'm his assistant. I keep an eye out on him.

[She smiles, nodding.]

I see~. You must be close.

Yep! He's a good guy and he's been there for me. The least I can do is make sure he doesn't end up on his butt.

[She nods, then pauses. She raises her hand to her chin, thinking, then looks to Maya again.]

You said you were a spirit medium, right? Could I meet you? Ask you a few things?

Sure! Anything you'd like to ask about. Where'd you like to meet? I should probably warn you I'm still training to become the leader of my village so there's a lot of things I have to learn about, but I'll try as hard as I can!

That's fine; you may be able to give me a little insight.

Hmm... Well, any place where we can talk privately would work.

[What she has to say? Totes crazy sounding; do not want outside ears.]

If you want I could get meet you? It'd be nice to get out and around.

That sounds good. I can meet you at the Crystalden entrance.

[She smiles and nods, bowing.]

That's me. Nice to meet you, Maya.

So this is Crystalden, huh? It's so cool. [Give her a second of amazement until she snaps out of that.] Well, you be the leader! I don't know good places to talk.

[She starts to walk and talk at the same time.]

So, do you believe in haunted places? Like houses? Schools, maybe?

Do I believe in them? [She thinks about that.] It seems really possible. I've never really dealt with them myself, but yeah. I can believe it. Why?
