[Seiko needed time. Time to come to grips with the fact she was alive, yet alone. Time to lament and be her not-so-bubbly self. So she took it.

Now, she feels more up to talking to people, and thanks to the time alone, pretty much figured out how the weird, see-through phone in her hands worked. So she turns on the video option and smiles, knowing that any small movement of her head would show the marks around her neck.]

Yaho~. My name's Seiko Shinohara. I'm from Kisaragi Academy, class 2-9. It looks like we're all in the same boat, so I hope we all get along.

[She bows, then comes back up, still smiling.]

So, am I the only one here who's supposed to be dead?

Yep. If it means they escape and don't suffer, then I'm fine with it. It's kind of a crappy trade-off, but there ain't much I can do about it.

[Seiko laughs; she thought the same thing, once.]
