Just how many bloody Overlanders are there going to be around here?
I feel like the minority as a talking animal these days going to be honest.
Sure there's a spot of you here and there but it's-

I'm about as unamused as I can get...okay that's a lie, seeing a few bumblers is kind of funny, but the setting overall is crud.

Anyways, my main point is, how many other animals are here? I would rather like a tally, maybe keep tabs on each other if we need it- us of a smaller number have to stick together and such.

Not so strange actually. "off-color" animals are common in my neck of the multiverse. One's even a world renowned hero.

There were off color beings where I come from as well, but there was always a reason. One could either dye their fur or have it be a mutation of some kind.

I suppose technically we might be a mutation or evolution of normal animals...

And I have a better explanation or why your hedgehogs are blue. If some how they evolved absorbing the same compounds that make the sky blue into their fur, then it would possibly reflect blue light.

Or the same thing that makes parrot feathers appear blue.

Oh no Hedgehogs are all sorts of different colors actually. Like Pink, and Green, it's just that one and his family who are blue. I believe it's because Hedgehogs have a natural affinity to the "Chaos Force" in my world, much like the Echidnas. Or something like that, I'm no scholar on the subject.

Hedgehogs and chaos. I'd have never linked the two.

The way you're describing them though they are beginning to sound like the care bears or the like.

I could explain it to you best as I can if you want. It's a fundamental part of my world so I at least understand the basics.

This chaos force sounds familiar at least. I'm pretty sure there was something similar in my world.

A few gods of chaos at least. Oh. The Dirge of Chaos. That's what it was.

Care Bears are a greeting card series that got turned into merchandise and cartoons because they were cute, cuddly, colorful and blah blah blah. Saccharin nonsense, but they were as colorful as your hedgehogs appear to be.

Hm, I don't know about gods but the Chaos Force is the embodiment of "Chaos Energy" a supernatural power exuded by the "Chaos Emeralds" that have a wide effect on the motions of the universe. It can be tapped into to gain god-like ability but the people that can do it are rare and far-between.

There is a reason it is called "Chaos" any effort to predict and understand it is impossible. At least from the point of logistical science.

It's a force of nature, correct? You're saying it can't be understood from a point of logistical science. You're also saying that hedgehogs and echidnas have an affinity towards it.

You need to study the individuals who can harness it and find out why. At least that's what my approach would be.

It's a force of nature in that there's no other way to explain what it is.

And really, it's not really that meaningful in this world, is it? Your Chaos emeralds aren't likely to show up given that the queen will not give us an advantage, much less something as powerful as you describe.

I'm not so sure. True there is no Chaos Emerald, however, I am not as unobservant as my post makes me out to be. I have seen a certain person on the network that I know can access the Chaos Force.

I come from a world where there were hundreds of 'Shadows'. Shadow Sword, Shadow Knight, Shadow whatever. I'm used to it, I just liked the idea of being the only one for a change.
