Good afternoon, everyone. I haven't introduced myself, so I thought I'd take the time to do so. My name is Mami Tomoe and it's a pleasure to meet all of you. If you need any help adjusting to this place or anything at all, please let me know right away. I'd be happy to help, and in a new and unusual place, it's important that no one should feel abandoned and alone.

[ She takes a deep breath, the next part of her speech making her feel quite a bit uncomfortable and nervous. But she couldn't let Sayaka down. She promised this, and she had to do her best to make it a reality no matter how much other magical girls had let her down in the past. ]

While this would normally be kept a secret, I have decided, along with a college of mine, to reveal to everyone that I am indeed a magical girl, a puella magi as we call it. I made a wish, and in return, I was given magical powers to help protect people.

I don't particularly mind if you don't believe me, though I have been made aware that there are magical girls here from other worlds besides mine. You don't need to address me right now, though I'd like to have a party in the near future so we can introduce and meet each other. I would like for us all to work together, so if you have an interest in that, I do hope that you will attend my party. If you'd like to keep your identity a secret, we can also arrange for that as well.

[ She shuts the feed off, wondering if she's doing the right thing or not. But if Sayaka is backing her up on this, it can't turn out that bad... right? ]

Likewise! Not everyone is able to use magic, my magical abilities come from being a warrior of the beast God Suzaku. Other magic users from my world are given magic by the beast God of their continent, no da.

To be honest the only one familiar to me is Iron Man. He was pretty famous back home as both a superhero and a billionaire industrialist.

But from what I'm told, the one here is not exactly the one I knew of. Something about alternate dimensions. The one here there, has some superhero associates though and I guess is a part of a team where he is from.

Oh I don't doubt you, but some of these guys are hardcore science freaks. So anything involving magic makes them doubtful. They are the types that gotta have everything explained to them.

[Kyouko almost retorts to say that it's definitely too late, but she concedes, for now. Getting a rise out of Mami took more effort than she was willing to exert at the moment.]

...When's this meeting s'posed to be?

[Primo chuckles softly at that and smiles back.]

Of course, allow me to rephrase myself: Should your soul gem, or those of your friends, start to lose their shine again, I beg you to come to me so I can take a look.

In fact, I'll extend it even more. I'm familiar with many types of magic, and as I said even with the limits this place has imposed me I'm confident on my powers. Should you, or any of your friends, encounter problems regarding magic, be it your own or not, feel free to contact me as you please should you deem it necessary. I'll do everything I'm allowed to in this place to help.

[It's basically all he can promise right now. Of course, in his own agenda, there's a note already for whenever he returns to his place to check on Mami's world. It doesn't matter if she chooses to not contact him again or trust him, he will personally check her world and all its parallels, from there... He will decide what to do once he see how things are for real. It doesn't matter yet anyway.]

. . . I'm assuming witches mean something else to you than they do to me. [ Because otherwise she'd be hunting people and that's bizarre for little girls to be doing. ]

Hey, I understand. Not everyone's going to take it in stride, but at least this place is already packed full of people from radically different worlds. Everyone's gonna have their own expectations of what's 'normal' and some might embrace magic as a part of them.

...I'm glad to hear that. [ Because now her thoughts are all focusing on Mami's disappearance, and whether or not Sayaka was involved, and if this is causing any other problems. ]

Does she know what you are?

Rich, famous, and a superhero? Sounds like an interesting person. [ Sounds like he has it way better than the puella magi do, or so she thinks. ]

Ah, I see. Those types. Hopefully if I show respect for their sciences they will be able to show the same respect towards me and my abilities. We'll have to see.

Probably. In my world witches are created from the negative emotions of people. They go around causing havok and drive innocent humans to die. I have heard that in other worlds, witches are simply people that practice magic and this is not what I'm talking about since by that definition I would be a witch myself.

I plan on getting everyone together for food. We're going to discuss how to keep everyone here in mallow hallow and the neighboring districts safe.

There are no witches to be found here, or not the kind from our own worlds at least, so surely this won't go against what you stand for.

I understand that now. It's rather refreshing to see so many open minded people in one place.

Sounds about right. Well, they're not made up of negative emotions where I come from, and they're typically not "people," but witches are beings capable of magic. Usually of a destructive nature.

So then, magic is not commonplace at your . . . place?

It's not just that. [Protecting people? That wasn't her style at all.

But she was worried about Sayaka.] If there's no witches, why bother protecting 'em? It's got nothin' to do with us.

Definitely beats having to keep a lid on everything. Most of the time, you've gotta watch what you say and do in other worlds... Here? Any semblance of a "world order" got shattered the minute we showed up.

Yeah... I guess that'd make sense. You'd be risking your life when you fight, huh? [ hm... as much as she liked superhero shows and cartoons, she never really thought about it like that. ]

Ribbons, huh? Cool. [ a nod. ] So what exactly do you protect people from, though? If you use magic, it must be pretty dangerous.

In that case, I hope we can rely on each other. I look forward to our partnership.

[ Mami seems really happy about having another ally in this strange place. Maybe there was hope for her ideals after all. ]

I protect people from witches; monsters created from the negative feelings of people just like you and me. And yes, I do risk my life while fighting, but I don't mind as long as I get to help people.

[ That, and if she hadn't been able to make her wish, she would have been dead anyway. ]

She does. [ No reason to deny it now. ] Though I promised you I would keep her safe and I plan on following through on that.

That's a bit similar to my magic, then. It was given to me, I wasn't born with it.

You do make a very good point. I do feel a little better with this off my chest.

[ Everyone so far seems to have been okay with everything that she's had to say. It makes Mami feel a lot better about the whole situation. ]
