umm... i think i already am? sometimes there's stuff i wish for on impulse a lot, like, "i reeeeally wanna battle someone!" or "i miss my mom, i wanna go home for a while," but i'm still pretty happy.

Some happiness is brief or circumstantial. I would say that true happiness is a lasting, more complete happiness.

Someone might find one or two things they like here and be pleased with them momentarily, while otherwise being unhappy and wishing to return. But then, like all emotions, happiness is subjective, so I suppose what it means to be "truly" happy is up to the individual to decide.
