Oh! Just what I thought! So this is just like the Dreamberry... I wonder why this is a chalkboard though? Everyone else gets nicer looking phones, so why do we get this...

[Wait wait right right! This was recording!! Get your act together, Noel! AHEM! She gives a smile to the camera.]

Um, anyway... It's nice to meet everyone! My name is Noel Vermillion. Th-This might sound strange but... Has anyone else here have this happen to them before? Being trapped in a different world with other people from different worlds and having no way out, I mean...

[She sighs.]

I really hope it's like last time where you get thrown back to the exact time they took you from... I have really important things to do back home...

[That's a voice and face he didn't immediately recognize, if only because of the new look. But after a moment, the recognition sifts into place and Ragna knows that he has to reply.]

Noel--? [Wait. That's not right.] Hold on a second, are you saying you've been through this before?

Ragna?

[Noel blinks in surprise. She didn't expect to see him here! Even if she should have. Anything can happen in these sort of places after all.]

It's been a while! A-And yeah... I have. You did too, but seeing as you're asking you probably don't remember it. Getting transferred to different places can jumble up your memory sometimes... I'm not sure if I'm really glad I remember.

Whoa, whoa. Don't start putting words in my mouth. There is no way in hell I've done this song and dance before, so don't start spouting that crap.

[Though if what she said about it jumbling up memories being a thing, it could be possible... wait, no. Ragna can't start thinking like that. He can't afford that.]

When did you even find the time to start... doing whatever we're talking about. What am I supposed to call this? [Place jumping?]

[Buttface. Noel's face forms into an annoyed frown at his denial of acknowledgement towards her information. She was just trying to be helpful!]

Anyway! You shouldn't just assume that I do this on my own like that! It's always against my will, and every time I go back I'm always at the exact same time I was taken from... Though it's been only one place. I've never heard of Mallowhallow until now...

Oh, forgive me if I'm not buying that. [Maybe he could do with being a bit more polite. He'd help it if he weren't so annoyed with the situation. And the fact that the fairies are really annoying.]

So... what you're saying is that it's like nothing even happened in the first place? [Pause.] That mean if we manage to get back to where we're supposed to be, we might not have missed out on anything?

[That would be pretty damn ideal. The slight tinge of pleasure on Ragna's sudden smirk is more than enough evidence that he'd really like to hear that.]

[Must you really be that patronizing...? ;~; Though Noel was pretty annoyed with how Ragna was behaving, a part of her was glad to see him again. It's been a month, after all. She doesn't stay mad for long when he asks about the timey-wimey details. She nods as if on instinct.]

Y-Yes, that's right. I'm not sure if it's the same for here though... We'd have to see if someone ends up going back to their world and returning here with their memories intact.

[Ragna sighs. She's not sure, even if Ragna isn't particularly buying what she's selling. Dammit.]

Basically, something that probably isn't going to happen. [Maybe? No high hopes on that.] That's a goddamn pain in the ass if I ever heard one. But that's how it worked for you in whatever other place you were, apparently?

You sure it wasn't some kinda... I don't know, lucid dream? [Lucid is the right word, right.]

Um, well... It kinda was.

[Wait, maybe she should continue and explain before that answer pisses him off. Besides, maybe more detail would help make her claims more convincing.]

It was a city called Somarium, and it used dreams as a fuel source. A thing called a "Dream Gate" malfunctioned and started taking people's subconsciousness there. Like... um, astral projection? I think they called it that... It's pretty complicated stuff... Anyway, I was there for three years.

[That didn't make it remotely more convincing to Ragna. But he has no reason to not believe it.]

... You know, if I didn't see a place full of pillows in the past week, I'd flat out deny what your saying. Because the stuff you're spouting? Sounds insane.

[Her expression is much akin to a kicked puppy. Do you really think she'd make something like that up?]

Anyway, have you seen anyone else from "home" around? Like, maybe Miss Rachel or something...

[Probably not. That's why Ragna is going to file it under "probably actually a thing" instead of brushing it off. But he won't say anything more about it, since it'd devolve into arguing and Noel said something more pressing.]

Miss...? [WHAT A GROSS TITLE FOR THE BUNNY-LEECH, WORSE THAN PRINCESS.] You're the first I've seen. And I've been putting in a damn lot of work into finding that rabbit.

[EXCUSE YOU, RACHEL IS A SCARY BUT ACTUALLY KINDA NICE PERSON OK. SHE DESERVES TO BE RESPECTED. Unlike you.]

Oh, that's too bad... I was looking for her. I really needed her help with something.

[Oh, right. She remembered something vitally important for these situations. It's something she needs to ask, given the nature of this place and past experiences:]

Um... Ragna? This might sound weird, but what's the last thing you remember before coming here?

Needed her help? For what?

[He doesn't even have the slightest hunch to what, and if Noel needed Rachel's help with something, it had to be important. And being left out of the loop was really annoying when it came to the rabbit.]

You weren't wearing... whatever the hell you're wearing, if that's what you mean. [It's called a new outfit, Ragna.] I started on my way to Ikaruga.

Th-There's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing! [Is there...? Noel thought it was pretty cute...] Anyway, I was on my way there too. I haven't seen you for a month.

[She is totally not dodging his question. No sir.]

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. [Even if he made it sound like he intended to. Such is the curse of sounding annoyed whenever one speaks. And choosing words poorly.] And a month, huh? That's a pretty long time from where I'm standing.

[Pause.]
