Order I | Crystalden [Action]

[Among the the flashing lights and tall buildings, you may spot a little girl walking the streets at night, particularly that of the young Hellsing master. Her expression is one of insecurity and bewilderment... Just where was she, exactly?

Don't be shy. Feel free to confront the little one. Just be aware, she carries a sword on her. She may be unwilling to use it, but that hardly means she doesn't know how to.]

[ Seeing a young girl wandering around a place like Crystalden... well, it reminds Yuusei of the days when he lived in Satellite, even if the scenery didn't quite match that. But regardless, he can't just let her wander alone.

... Even if she has a sword.

He approaches slowly, much like how he would've done to a friend of his from before, and moves near her side so he doesn't startle her too much. ]

Hey... Are you okay alone?

[Well Yuusei, you've startled her, at least a little bit. However, he doesn't seem threatening to her. She looks up at him with much curiosity (particularly at his hair), and gives a disappointed sigh.]

No. Quite lost I'm afraid.

[ Yuusei notices the curious glance at his hair, and despite it all, he smiles a little - a brief twitch of his lips. She doesn't seem threatened by him, and that's something else he notices, giving him some relief on his part. With that in mind, he glances around, a hand lifting to rest on his hip. ]

Well, I haven't been here for long myself, but I'm starting to learn it well. [ He pauses to look at her. ] Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

[Well, how could one say she's looking for her servant, and a vampire no less? She had no idea if he was even in this world. But, there was something else. She had heard something about a 'Lochwell', and how if she went there she could become a knight.

Decidedly, becoming a knight sounded slightly less threatening. Although she feels shy around him, she attempts to carry herself with an iron resolve.]

Oh-- you see, it might sound strange, but I really don't understand how I got here myself. I'm trying to find a way towards a Lochwell.

[But unfortunately, she loses whatever confidence she felt but a moment ago. In a lighter tone, she continues.]

I'm going to become... a knight.

[And technically, she already was! Or at least back in her own world.]

[ That gives Yuusei reason to pause, and he can't help but seem a bit curious about that. Though, he recalls hearing of a Lochwell not too terribly far from where they're at - maybe a few hours' walk. ]

I can help you. It might take a while to get there, but I think I know the way.

[ He starts to head in a different direction than she'd been going, and he tilts his head slightly in that direction as he stops to make sure she's following him. Certainly, Yuusei hasn't necessarily given the girl a reason to trust him, but he can only hope that she's willing to follow anyway. ]

Why a knight, though?

[She looks a little bit saddened by this question. Perhaps if only because her father just died and that she had to shoot her own uncle. Or maybe it's because she's in a position surrounded by much older men than herself, those who look down on her and do not believe she can live up to carry the weight of the Hellsing name. Yuusei doesn't know that, but she feels this boy is kind enough to deserve an explanation.

She looks down at her feet as she speaks.]

It is my duty to my Queen-- what I have been training for my entire life back at home.

[Now she sits on the ground and pulls her legs up to her chest, burying her face in her knees.]

But apparently they don't believe I am good enough to hold the title.

[ Yuusei turns around entirely to look at the girl as she stops, and he watches as she sinks to the ground. Brows furrowed slightly to allow a frown to make its way on his face, Yuusei takes the few steps closer, then lowers himself to one knee in front of her. And though he may not know the details, he has a feeling he knows why these people from her home have said these things. ]

They think that because you're a young girl, don't they?

[ He sighs softly and ducks his head a bit to try to make at least brief eye contact with her. ]

But if you've been training for it, then they're only discriminating against you. [ And boy does he have an issue with discrimination. ] I'll help you get there, and then you can train all you need to so once you get back to your home, you can show them you're capable, woman or not.

[Darcy is just as bewildered, but when she spots the young girl, it feels only right that she should check and see if the kid is doing okay. She's the adult after all and it's just not right to leave a child out in a big city like this alone.]

Hey there, are you alright?

[She jumps, feeling a bit startled.]

Oh! I'm...

[Just admit it, Integra.]

I'm sort of lost myself. You're not from around this place right?

[She's assuming the girl is on the same boat as her, mainly because of the accent. It sounds British and well she's not wearing a tron inspired get up.]

[She shakes her head.]

No. From London in fact.

Well I'm from New Mexico. But at least you're from a place I have heard of! If you'd rather not wander around alone, you can stick with me.

If we're here. The chances got to be good that some people we know might be here too.

[ If there is a lesson Kida has not learned and probably never will, it's to not approach confused little girls walking by themselves and wearing swords. Which is exactly why he beelines right over to walk next to her. ]

Going for a walk all by yourself doesn't look very fun.

[She looks over to him. The boy seems friendly enough, though she seems a bit unnerved by him.]

I don't particularly mind the solitude, although I wish I knew more about my surroundings.

[ A cute girl is a cute girl no matter what the age! ]

If a knowing guide is what you need, you don't need to look any further!
