[ for the few people that know Hilda, the feed that clicks on to her face might be a bit different than what they know. it would be hard to miss that she's gotten a bit taller, grown out her hair and that the smile she's sporting has changed. it's more... mature? jaded? there are different ways to describe it, but it's certainly not the same.

on her shoulder, an Aipom is examining the camera with it's trademark Cheshire grin. ]

Man... I'm gone from this weird place for two whole years and nothing changes. Maybe now I'll get a chance to actually explore...

So, have I missed anything big?

I need to talk to you guys. I think... I have some explaining to do.

[is that an Aipom? Yes, that's an Aipom. Good taste in Pokemon, Hilda, A+.]

Another Trainer with an Aipom here? That's totally cool! I have an Ambipom myself, you know.

[This is the point where the realization hits her, with slight delay, like a cinder block.]

Wait, whaaaaaat? Hasn't it only been a few days? And didn't you not know anything about being gone before? Now you've completely lost me...

Hilda! You're back!

[She looks... kinda different! Huh. But she's back nonetheless, which Bianca is ecstatic to see.]

[ more importantly, what are you, Shadow. you are definitely not human!! but she's been asked a question, so she'll answer. ]

Uh... This is Aipom. He's my partner.

[ have a wave from the monkey, Shadow. ]

You do? That's cool! [ she smiles a little brighter. Trainers with similar Pokemon were always interesting to talk to. ]

This little guy here only hatched recently, so it'll be awhile before he evolves.

[ That Fucking Monkey ]

I... see.

[ He thins his eyes at the thing. Wow, that thing is freaky, and this is coming from a genetically-engineered alien-hedgehog hybrid. ]

If I have to guess, it is either a Pokemon or native to this place.

You got it. It's a Pokemon. [ ah, that makes her smile. someone(thing?) that knows Pokemon! that gives her one less thing to explain. ]

As I'd expected.

he just had a bit of a flashback here ]

[ NO THANK YOU HE DOES NOT WANT ANOTHER POKE BALL TO THE FACE. ]

And, just for the record, I am not a Pokemon. If you find me, don't throw anything at me or I will harm you.

[ That Brendan boy got off lucky. Hilda? Not so much. No patience for Poke Balls now. None. ]

Aipoms are still great to use, even when they're not evolved, so you don't have to worry about that! [Since you know. Ambipom wasn't known about until recently.]

Where'd you get him?

I... Uh... Didn't think you were? I mean, most Pokemon can't talk. You're obviously not human, but Pokemon? Nah.

[ she won't inquire! at least, not yet. ]

You would be surprised at how obvious it isn't. I've already received capture attempts.

[ He jabs his finger at the nasty lump on his muzzle. The swelling's gone down, but it's still a bit purple and bruised. ]

Cute! Is he yours? Where did you get him?! Can Misa get one too?

Mm. Just be sure you and your trainer peers realize that not everything here is a Pokemon, miss...?

[ He doesn't think he got her name! ]

Has it? [ okay, more confusing things. great. ] Definitely feels like longer to me...

[ but this isn't the time to be focusing on that. ] I'm just as weirded out as you are, but trying to figure it out through here probably won't help. We should all meet up.

Yeah, definitely. [ she chuckles, a bit embarrassed. ]

Oh- my name's Hilda. What about you?

Shadow. Shadow the Hedgehog.

[ Mm. He doesn't see much more reason to talk to her now, except... aha, wait. He does have one more thing. ]

Are you simply a regular trainer or something... more?

[ Like, say, a champion. Just curiosity, that's all! Totally!!!!! ]

Yep. [ her smile can't help but grow. it's been so long... and both of them have changed. ]

Long time no see, Bianca.

Great! We've been training a lot lately, so it'll be great to see how we do in battle. [ Aipom does a little muscle flex at that. he is so. ready. ]

From an egg nursery in Sinnoh. I did them a favour, so they gave me an egg for free as thanks.

Nope, not exactly. This is a Pokemon - an Aipom, to be exact. [ hello, Misa! he'll be waving to you now. ]

I hatched him from an egg. I don't think you could find wild Pokemon here, though... but I could be wrong.

A hedgehog, huh... [ like that legendary Pokemon she heard about back in Sinnoh... Shaymin. heh. ] Cool.

[ oh, but that question. ] I guess you could say that, yeah.

[They have! But either way, Bianca returns that smile with a large one of her own.]

Ahh... Y-yeah! You look so different now. Your hair got so long!

And you got glasses.

[ awkward? maybe a little... but she's glad to see one of her best friends happy and safe. ]

Yes, I did! And Cheren lost his. Eheh...

[Bianca's just too thrilled to find it that awkward, really-- Though now with these changes, she is curious...]

Um! If you don't mind me asking, Hilda... What's the last thing you remember before coming here? Er... coming back here.

Mm. I see.

[ Theeeen if she's really nothing special, he has no further business with her now. Maybe he can keep an eye on her, though. ]

Now, if you will excuse me, I have important business to tend to. We may meet again in the near future.

[ If she proves useful at all. ]

I'd be totally happy to train with you if you want! I know loads about them, so it'd be fun for both of us. [WELL. Clefairy and Miltank are her breeds of choice, but. Aipoms are good, too, and she does know a good deal about them.]

Are you from Sinnoh, then?

[ Blink blink. Looonnngg pause ---- because last time Misa checked monkeys didn't come from eggs. ]

... but isn't he a monkey?

Oh- uh, yeah. Definitely. Nice to meet you, Shadow.

[ she'll save her story for another day, then. Aipom waves goodbye at the camera; he wants to see this funny guy again someday! ]

I noticed! I guess we're all grown up now. [ heh... heh. two years. ]

Well... I wasn't in Unova, if that's what you're wondering.

I'd appreciate that a lot - both of us would, actually. [ she nods at Aipom, to which it responds with a little cheer. he's pumped! ]

Nah, my home region is Unova. I've been doing some travelling in Sinnoh for the past while, though.

[ she shakes her head. ]

Like I said - Pokemon. Aipom look like monkeys, but they're completely different.

They aren't? They really do like like them though. But Misa has never seen anything like them back in her world.

Maybe ... except in video games. [ Though Misa didn't really play video games though. ]

They really come from eggs? That is so cool!

Unova? I was there not too long ago for that big Tournament! There's some super-cute Pokemon there.

I'm from Johto myself, though. Have you ever been there?

... You managed to go home for a time?

[ This isn't something that Mami's heard of happening before, and she knows she hasn't been in pillow land for two whole years. ]

We really are, huh?

Ahh... That does explain it, then! [So she's probably up-to-date with her and Cheren or... something. however that works. so weird.] How have your travels been?

I heard about that Tournament. I definitely would have gone back to participate if I could. [ but unfortunately, she had some other business to attend to. ]

Not yet, but it's definitely next on my list! I've heard lots of good things about it.

That's how it looks. It wasn't voluntary though... It just sort of happened.

[ if she can remember correctly, this is that magical girl she talked to from way back! it'd be hard to forget someone like that. ]

Maybe they'll hold another one sometime that you can go to. [since it was a pretty expensive tournament facility and all that. And she wanted to catch more Unova-mon.]

It's really the best there is! Whenever we get to go home, if you're ever in Goldenrod City, I'll give you a tour if you want.

I'd really like that... It'd be nice to go home for a while. [ and hopefully by then she'd find who she was looking for. ]

I'll remember that! It's got the Magnet Train that goes to Kanto, right?

Well, everyone here comes from different worlds, right? Creatures like Aipom are part of my everyday life. [ the small primate hops up to hang from her arm with its tail before swinging back up to perch on her other shoulder. ]

That's right! They have the potential to evolve, too.

They've been going pretty good, I guess. I've met lots of new people and seen a lot of Pokemon that don't live in Unova. It's been a really good experience.

[ but she still hasn't found who she was looking for, of course. ]

Evolve?

That's right! It has loads of other things, too, though. The Radio Tower and Department Store are there, and the National Park, Pokeathlon Dome, and Pokemon Daycare are right near-by, and loads of people come through Goldenrod to go to those places!
