[Assassin has been dutifully following her Master's orders, tracking one of the natives as part of the "game" he proposed to her. Sometimes, though, something else catches her eyes, and she finds herself distracted from the task at hand. This is one of those times.]

[Her target lives in Orlea, and from what she has gathered, music is one of his primary hobbies. So, it's no surprise when tailing him eventually leads to her following him into a store centered on as much. She has never really had the chance to listen to music before, much less any of the modern sort, so it isn't long before her attention falls away from him and onto the racks of CDs.]

[This is the backdrop when she decides ask a question of the populace at large. She wastes no time on an introduction or an explanation when she opens her mouth.]

What kinds of music are good?

[After this question is asked, if anyone is in the area and interested in stopping by the store, they may find Assassin inside, headphones held over her ears as she listens to whatever CD she happens to be sampling at the time. She has been picking what to listen to by how much she likes its name, which is maybe a little childish, but she is a child.]

[She nods, and though her expression doesn't change, the action seems eager.] Okay! I'll stay here until you get here.

[Pharos makes his way into Orlea and find his way into a store that looks very much like the one in the video. After a few minutes of wandering, he manages to find her.] Hello.

[He's not surprised by her quick reaction. He studies her, his small Servant.

He notes the guilty look, but makes no mention of it. It's good that she takes her duty seriously enough to feel guilty. But she isn't disobeying an order, so he isn't concerned.]

You were? And what were you going to bring me?

Uh-huh. Nice to meet you.

[Her reply is delivered a little clumsily, but she's still figuring this whole polite conversation thing out.]

Are you going to come?

[By the time he has arrived, she has already gathered a small stack of CDs to sample. She made a point to try to find some of the composers mentioned to her, though specifics may have been chosen for superficial reasons. She's quick to notice him.]

[She nods.]

He has a guitar. He practices every day.

[Pharos moves next to her, picking up one of the CDs curiously.] What type is this?

[And, not much later, Kristoph walks in, Golden Retriever at his heels, because he can bring his dog into the store if he wants to. She's better behaved than most people, in his opinion.]

[At his question, she moves to grab it back from him, obviously inexperienced when it comes to these kind of interactions. She has to check which one it is, though...]

It's Vivaldi, so that's... Um, Baroque!

[It's ok- for all he knows, that's what you're supposed to do.] That sounds interesting. Should we try that one?

That's good. I can accept that. So you'll bring it to me?

[She looks at Kristoph only briefly, though. She doesn't actually comment, but it's obvious that the dog is what has most of her attention. She never had a pet, either...]

Mm-hm. [She nods again.] Is that the next part of the game?

[She isn't sure if she understands the point of doing that, but she doesn't have a problem with doing so, either.]

We can. [It doesn't matter to her what they try first, after all. Okay, just put it in here, and...]

[...Oh, but there's only one pair of headphones.]

Um...! [She twists it so one of the earpieces is facing outward as best she can.] Here, you take this end.

Alright. [That seems to work. Pharos will listen quietly as the music begins to play. He hasn't really heard anything like this... it's nice, he supposes.]

[Kristoph notices where her gaze is focused. Children love people with dogs, don't they?]

Would you like to pet Vongole? You needn't worry, she doesn't bite.

Vongole, sit. [The dog sits, on command.]

Yes. Then we'll leave a part of it where he can find it. I want you to continue your surveillance, to find more things that matter to him.

I want him to realize that there is something he can't control happening to him. Something he can't prove or understand.

[She looks back to him when he speaks again.]

Is it okay?

[She edges closer to Vongole, though, one of her hands half-raised. When the dog sits, Assassin reaches out to pet her, the action still a little bit hesitant. This, too, is something new for her.]

[She stays quiet as Kirei explains. Then, she nods.]

I get it. Is that all you want me to do, though? Steal stuff and then break it?

[She could do more than that, if Kirei wants her to upset their target.]

[Assassin is content to listen for a little while, but there's a question that has been gnawing at her. Eventually, she has to vocalize it.]

Why didn't you have the chance to listen to music before?

[She hadn't expected to find someone similar to herself. So, she wants to know more about him.]

It's perfectly fine. She likes it.

[Kristoph continues to smile his usual sunny smile.]

She gets along well with everyone. She's a good dog.

[Vongole continues to sit still as Rasha pets her, seeming perfectly happy to do so.]

Do you like animals? [This odd, quiet girl reminds him somewhat of another little girl he was acquainted with.]

[That's a bit of a complicated question. But, Pharos also hasn't really learned how to lie- just how to be cryptic.]

I suppose I sort of heard some of it second-hand, but whenever I was truly awake things like this didn't really work.
