[ The feed flashes in as it's been doing and this time there’s some beeping as some buttons are pressed while all that’s seen is a blur of white and sometimes little flashes of details in blue. It finally settles and reveals the recorder, who is a rather feminine man with white hair and, most noticeably, a purple cross-shaped mask across his face. He seems almost surprised to have gotten this working, but the expression quickly vanished to a passive one.]

I think I’ve explored enough. This land doesn’t interest me much, no matter what it or its ‘Queen’ are capable of.

[He looks thoughtful for a moment before clearing his throat and continuing.]

I’m looking for the remains of the Toyotomi clan if there are any here. I’m currently in Highcrest; you should contact me or come find me right away.

[He’s not interested in introductions at the moment, either. The people who already recognize him are the ones he wants to get a hold of him.]

[And he ends with a small smile. Not the most interesting video to hit the network but hey. It serves his purpose.]

Why, but that's hardly any detail to start with!

Does the . . . Toyotomi clan wear specific colors? Garments of note? An insignia, perhaps? Come, you must share a striking aspect with which to locate these people. It will not do to approach every man and woman on the street with just a clan name!

Moreover, we would require yours to direct these strays with, unless you would prefer the alias of "masked one."

My apologies, my dear... I was more calling out to them, rather than asking for help finding them. After all, the particular men I'm looking for may not like me divulging even the slightest of information. [He gives her a charming smile.] Thank you though.

As for my name .... I like "the masked one." Sounds mysterious. [And a chuckle.]

I am afraid I am unfamiliar with anyone of that name... though I suspect, given all who have been brought here, that I would not under ordinary circumstances anyway.

[Yukimura's a little too close to the screen but it's still quite visibly him even with his jaw hanging in disbelief.]

Goodness! The cross-shaped mask! The white uniform! Could you be the Toyotomi army strategist, Lord Takenaka Hanbei!? To think the Toyotomi has traveled to these lands after defeat- Surely you are not planning to take over this nation instead!?

I suppose not, no. You must be from a different universe entirely to not have at least heard the name. Where I come from, it was well known across Japan and would have been known by all the world eventually.

An alias that reveals anything more about yourself would have to be unnecessarily long, I think. And to anyone who had never heard my name before, what would Takenaka Hanbei even tell them about me? Nothing I'm sure.

[And he's assuming Hideyoshi's not here because if he were it would already be conquered. But there's still only the piddly Queen in charge.]

[His battle-ready face dissipates into some confused blinks. After experiencing how aggressive the Toyotomi campaign was, it was hard for Yukimura to wrap his head around them not actually doing anything here.]

[He attempts to bow while still holding his device so all Hanbei can see is a wobbly mess of a video feed, but it's pretty easy to tell what he's doing. The camera is still once Yukimura is back up.] Aa- could it be that you were also brought to this land by mysterious means?! Ooh! If your aim is to return to our lands again, I humbly offer my assistance! I must return to my lordship's side as soon as possible!

[Yukimura looks a little struck with that comment and frowns back.]

Lord Hanbei, I must ask that you do not mock me of my duties to Lord Shingen! Of all generals, I should think you know of honorable servitude that you would understand my urgency to return! Even when one battle has ended, there is no certainty that another would not begin within the blink of an eye! [He waves his communicator up and then back down to eye level to pump himself up.] Huoooh! My soul is ablaze! I shall return to my homelands, I swear it! Should it be by my hands alone or with your aid, I will see to my victory or meet my end honorably like a true warrior!!!

[Hanbei pinched the bridge of his nose. Yukimura needed to stop moving that thing around. And also just stop.] Stop. You're making me ill.

... Should I hear of anything related to returning, I suppose I'll inform you. However, I have one more question of you, Yukimura. Is there anyone else of interest here?

[You know what he means. Is he calling out to an empty crowd.]

[Yukimura straightens when asked the question like the good soldier he is and does hold his scroll still as asked.]

Hoh! If you speak of those we have met in battle from our own lands, I have seen both Lord Masamune and Lord Mitsunari! They are of good health! It is unfortunate they share our fate, but I could not ask for better allies!

[What a good kitten, though now Hanbei was more concerned with what he was saying, although he completely ignored everything after he got the names. Masamune was one thing. He could be upset with Masamune's presence here all he wanted later. But Mitsunari too. That was ... he actually wasn't quite sure how he felt about that and it showed on his face.]

That boy is here too. I see. [He gives Yukimura an obviously forced smile.] That's all then, thank you. Goodbye, Yukimura, may we meet in person next.

[END CALL. DONT CALL HIM BACK OR HE'LL SLAP YA.]

Yes! I await our next me- [Yukimura is in the middle of saying something when the screen goes blank. He gasps thinking he must have broken something and shakes his scroll a few times.] E-eh?! Lord Hanbei!? Lord Hanbei!! I had not finished! Aa- could it be he would rather us continue face to face!?

[He also turns off his scroll and lets it roll together.] Very well, I accept this invitation! I shall find you soon, Lord Hanbei!

[As if the pale boy was able to possibly look any paler when he recognizes who it was. Needless to say, Mitsunari looked like he saw a ghost.

Well... He may as well have, as he knows very well what became of the Toyotomi clan. It made him angrier with each passing day, being here and not finding the person responsible for it. But. This was the first time his fueling frustrations were stopped, for the time being.]
